Glad you found it helpful. Did you notice there are TWO series of PID videos for that drive? One is for Pressure Monitoring (the one you found) and the other is for tank filling with sleep mode. Go here to see all of our PID video tutorials: www.automationdirect.com/cookbook and then click on the PID icon. We have a bunch more like those coming out in the near future so be sure to subscribe to our KZbin channel so you will be notified when they go live! Subscribe here: kzbin.info

" Translation: "If you use this machine, the engine always runs even though the faucet is closed" Reply: PID will do whatever it has to to maintain the pressure. It is possible it can take the motor to 0 rpm, but only if you haven't set a min speed.

Hi there. Is it possible with PID control to connect the output of 1st vsd to the input of the 2nd vsd? I would like to control the speed of the 1st motor according to what the amps of the 2nd motor is. The higher the amps of the 2nd motor the lower the speed of the 1st motor

Yes. Send the output current to an analog output (P4.50 = 3, for ex), then run that into the analog input of the other drive and tell that drive to use that as the frequency source (P4.00/01 = 2) for example. The GS4 is an extremely flexible drive, most of the time you are only limited by your imagination!
