Pakistan culture are different, even watching BW films it is easily seen! The coed cultures are different every where in Pakistan, even family interaction! Yes, there are over all concept of relationships, in respect to feeling of love of family and romantic loves, one can relate to even HW films! 26:43 this is true for a lot of genX adults in pk whose punjabi parents never spoke punjabi with them. They learnt at higher education or professional institutions or through grandparents. I think this needs sociological research to find why. I personally think this has a lot to do with how punjabi language was perceived as low and uneducated in the 70s and 80s Pakistan. While other provinces taught regional language at school, Punjab never did. Evidence is seen in all the meticulously Urdu spoken punjabis in arts today.... Including these three actors.
