Personally I am using 1.2 Kappa petrol, really good for city as well as on highway. The initial pick up will be linear but the midrange and top end is really good and the stability post 110+ Kmph is awesome. Mileage for me in city 13 and highways 18 Kmpl. The back seat also good as Compared to xuv 3xo.

I think new Sonet ( 2024) has SmartStream series engines which is improved version of Kappa engines( available in Nios, Exter, Venue etc.,). 1.2 L engine might be ok for lighter cars like Nios or Exter but in heavier cars like i20, Venue or Sonet it might feel underpowered..

Money worth, i got amilege of18+ on highways when cruising at 80 to 90 speed local 13 + clutch and steering butter smooth, as u said suspension harder mines htk+ 2022 model over taking has to come down to second gear but in hills driving at up climbing at third and second gear only. I also own Baleno 1.2 overtaking is no problem hills driving we can drive at 3rd and 4th gear 😊

❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓ 1. Why there is no isofix on the budget segment cars? Budget car buyers don't have babies? 2. Why does the base model doesn't have an atomic option? Only we have to go with manual and modify. If automatic is there it will be so convenient and budget friendly. Anyways it will be 60k-1L extra than the manual base but it will be pocket friendly. 3. Why this industry not come up with factory customization options? Eg: I can select the feature of my car on top of the basic safety features, like seat height adjustable, steering tilt and telescopic, 360 degree camera with audio system. Likewise I can customize what I want and pay for it only right insted of going for fancy features like sunroof.

Diesel mileage City 15km to 19km. Highway 17km to 25km. Combine 16km to 22km. Best RPM1900 to 1950. Car sweet spot 85km to 102km speed. Sweet spot for crush is 102km speed . Note should maintain lower RPM or idel Run AC will drop mileage. Car Diesel varient weight 1.25 tone.

Try sonet MT and IMT. In MT cluch is very smooth. iMT will get confident 5mins drive. Go for one long drive. Will will not go for 3X0

i bought a kia sonet htk(o) in aug car is good good confort good stability car looks good the big boy car both inside & outside looking premium good rear seat comfort good for 2 ppl but no headrest but yes the car is under power if ur light foot driver go for it. otherwise big nooo. If you plan to utilize the highway frequently then don't buy the car. mileage city 12-13 highway 15-17

Try diesel. I am using. Exterior feels like mid size suv. No compromise in interior and audio , etc.. feels premium.... Take one long drive. You will not even vist other brand. Drive -100km speed in road feel like electric vehicle no sound inside cabin.

This 1.2l Kappa is India s one of the worst Petrol engine this engine neither give nice fuel economy nor performance better to stick with 1l tgdi or diesel or else to other vehicles. Kia sonet s back seat felt very crampt. These things are deal breaker.

Hi, since April i am using htk(o) petrol and my average fuel economy in town is 15-17kmpl and highway 19 - 22kmpl (min 75+ speed and Ac) . For 11lakhs it's more than enough, and it's nothing to deal with Engine, it's about how ur driving skill. * I think you must be the previous Maruthi Suzuki user, so u want milage also u used mahindra, so need performance 😂 you want both in KIA.
