The demo you are watching here is for the IOS App VB3m. Not a demo for the Crumar Mojo. The sound you hear is coming from the cell phone running the App VB3m. There is no sound coming from the Mojo. It’s internal sounds are switched off. And the keyboard is only being used as a MIDI controller. The App only produces the sound of a tonewheel organ. This App alone is not capable of giving a complete range of various sounds to substitute as a complete general keyboard, as one poster above suggested.

@@costassiachamis9789 the USB transmits MIDI only. You would have to connect the headphone Jack out of your iPhone or iPad to an audio Input (if your keyboard has that) or to an external amp or sound system. As far as other types of sounds, there are hundreds if not thousands of programs to provide you with all the sounds you need. Those sounds can vary from being free, in the form of Soundfonts, to costing more than one hundred dollars. The newest iPads are now so fast, they can compete with the computing power of laptops. So, there are programs that used to only be available for Windows and Mac OSX that now have fully operating equivalents for iPads. But, those programs can be pretty pricey. Where musicians are concerned, the days of the $5 and $10 music App are completely gone. And have been for quite a while. But, that is only fair. These software companies have put a great deal of time in to developing these Apps. If money is tight, purchase ‘bs-16i’, for $7.99 in the App Store. This is a Soundfont player. You can create layers and splits within this App with all 16 MIDI channels available. You can then go online and do a search for free Soundfonts. There are tons of them, that are completely free. There are sounds of every type. Some are actually pretty good. Soundfonts are basically Samples. I have been playing live performances using an iPad Pro for several years. And, I use this App for a few sounds. Most of my Apps are purchased ones. And several are expensive. But, they are still less expensive than purchasing a whole new keyboard every time some hot new sound comes out. And, you actually end up with a custom keyboard setup, of your liking.

@@costassiachamis9789the USB only transmits MIDI information. It does not transmit audio. You need to use your devices earphone Jack out for that. Or, connect your iDevice to an audio interface. And connect the outputs of the interface to your powered speakers.

Okay Max, but what do the contact between keyboard's midi out and smartphone's port???

This is not a demo for the Crumar Mojo. The Mojo is simply being used as a keyboard controller. The demo is about the VB3m App which is strictly a Hammond tonewheel organ emulation. So, any reference you make regarding other sounds doesn’t pertain.

Grande come sempre Max, per superare la mancanza della uscita audio sul Samsung mi sembra tu abbia utilizzato un Hub Usb3 cui collegare il Samsung e la UAC222 solo per uscire con l'audio. Ma ipotizzando la connessione dell'Hub con il Mojo, (cavo Usb B - > Usb A sul Hub) e collegando il Samsung all'Hub non hai avuto problemi senza alimentarla?, poi sempre all'Hub hai collegato UAC222 solo per uscire con l'audio. Con un altro tipo di Hub Usb 2 a me non va, Il problema dei dispositivi Android rispetto ad IOS e' che sono molto diversi tra loro. Grazie e di nuovo complimenti, Nedo

I have an I-phone and an IPad Air 2 that I may try to get this to work but will need some adapters to make is work. Isn't the GSI VB3m the same sounds in the new Crumar Mojo Classic?

You could try writing to a Genuine Soundware support for the answer to that question. I was under the impression that VB3m was more like the original VB3 than VB3 ver 2.

The VB3m is based on the original VB3 ver 1.4 for PC/Mac. Which was very good. I used it for years on my laptop. However, I also now own VB3m for my iPad Pro. I feel that VB3m does sound a little better than VB3 for the desktop PCs. The Crumar Mojo runs on VB3 ver 2. Reported to be an improved version of the original VB3.

Un consiglio un po' lungo: grato d'aver trovato un software completo, nostalgia del mio vecchio "Pari" simulatore hammond L100, domanda tecnica:come acquistare, il software vb3m per mac con il download, sistema 11.9 big sur, scheda audio e monitor m-audio pro e Bx5. Uso garage band per registrare al imac, chiedo se il software vb3m puó essere inserito in una delle sue tracce di gband. Registro anche live tramite 2 sistemi hardware: una tastiera korg pa 4x 76 tasti collegata con usb host al mac, un registratore zoom 24ch che mi serve anche come mixer. Ho letto abbastanza sul contenuto ed implementazione del software, mi rimane da capire la funzionalità con le mie apparecchiature e se ritieni utile per me acquistare qualche accessorio hardware, controller per potere essere più immediato sull'uso , rimango in attesa per potere acquistare ció che ritieni utile per le mie configurazioni e/o se mi vuoi consigliare una o più soluzioni certe e funzionanti per il mio sistema. P. S. mio imac : retina 27", i7 4Hz 4core, 32gb ddr4 ram, 3tera fution drive, vari ssd esterni per memorie, scheda audio m-audio pro 2 in/out, scheda video( AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4 GB DDR 5). You are only hearing the sound from the IOS App VB3m. This is not a demo for the MOJO also.

It's not; he's just using the Mojo as a controller to show and hear how VB3m works. Point he is making is for $15 and a couple of adapters you can turn any controlling keyboard into a Mojo.

Well actually slightly different since VB3m afaik implements the previous version of the VB3 engine and does not support all the modeling parameters of VB3 II, but the differences are subtle and probably noticeable only Hammond purists.

@@andy5178that’s is incorrect. VB3m is using the format of the original VB3 ver 1.4 for desktop PCs and Macs. Not sure why GSI went this route. But, they did. The version of VB3 that is in the Crumar Mojo is ver 2.0. I will say, owning both the desktop and IOS version of VB3, that I feel the new VB3m does sound a little better that it’s desktop counterpart.
