Good phone but not really waterproof, it relies to rubber caps in order to keep water out. Battery due to rare charge cycles will likely last 6-7 years but rubber caps will last 1-2 years, after that it will become just another ordinary phone and the user will likely discover the fatal flaw when its already too late... I had this experience with other "waterproof" phones based on rubber caps, its kind of sad because besides that, this phone looks really good.

I have a question I hope someone can answer. This model sold from China has 17 Ram (with 5 GB virtual memory). But this model sold in America has the exact same specs (besides an increase in storage from 256 GB to 512 GB). However, you can bump the virtual Ram to 12 GB for a total of 24 GB total Ram. Does anyone know how to make that same virtual Ram (12 GB) available on this phone, but sold from China? It is unlocked, region free BTW. TIA.

Same Question. Just bought from Spain for use in Swe. How do U expand 12 RAM i'hab even seen "false ads" of this phone is 24RAM but in fact only "expand able to .."

@@user-wj9jk7kl7j Since I made this post, I figured this issue out on my own. Our phones are not able to upgrade to the 24 GB of ram. It appears to simply be a software update made by Ulephone. For the Pro model. They unlocked the additional virtual ram. And also gave it a update to Android 13. Where our phone only got an update to 12. Those two differences along with a slightly more powerful processor on the Pro model and double the storage are the only differences in the phones. Realistically, the virtual ram and Android update should have been updated for our phones. So the only difference is a processor that is about 15% faster. And double the storage from 256 GB to 512 GB. But that doesn’t help sell “Pro” models to make them nearly identical. So we get the short end of the stick. The Pro Model is about $100 more than our model. Had I known there was a Pro model for $100 more, I would have bought it instead. For now, I will just stick with this phone.

tried it, compared it, sent it straight back. besides a few features that are very cool....there are to many lacking or weak issues. new hardware, outdated software, may have a future, but imo these are overrated junk
