I have normal p30 and in my opinion it won't ever be worth the upgrade unless p50 has a headphone jack and Google services. Normal p30 is incredible, it has all the features

Good phone. Google apps is not a problem. Clone everything from the old phone. The rest through the developers pages or app search will take you there. For netflix and games i dont know. Very good screen and camera. Its a bit heavy and the cameras are nice but large/thick

Great review, everything checks out. I have been to the local story and they have demo p40 so u can try it. The camera is definitely a big upgrade cuz pictures are rly high quality and detailed. I would definitely reccomend buying this phone.

Actually, it's because the light bleed near the punch hole area, so they don't like it. Punch holes are more perfect with OLED. Good question tho

Well obviously size is not everything. Those two phones aren't in the same class even. Only objective upside of Lite version compared to P40 is its battery. Everything else is on P40's side. Kirin 990 that is in P40 is very much so *superior* to Lite's Kirin 810. Obviously, Leica cameras on P40 are next level. If you want all that, even tuned up and in bigger package, go for P40 Pro. That's all out, no compromise choice. :)

My Huawei P40 pro has been a total disaster. Sure the camera, QR scan, etc are fast. But it's a crippled phone in vegetative state.I can't GRAB or GOJEK in singapore. It's using google. Can't backup my whatsapp, line chats, using google. Can't use google map. I can't use instagram, youtube, etc because the APK version can't multi select photos. Latest games and any complex games like Genshin Impact, etc none can use. Only most simple China games. What's worse I went to repair my unused Huawei since it can google, they quoted me 3 parts damage at a whooping price. Seriously no thanks for me for Huawei.
