I mean it was a nerf for sure, but I still get plenty of ringouts with him and not having infinite dynamite is fine, so I think it's frustrating that characters like Stripe and Jason that aren't even the best are getting nerfed, but he's not bottom 3 or anything, still feels playable... I think people just don't play him much in general, maybe trauma from him being so good in beta, or maybe sad he feels weaker now

First Jack I fought played very patiently and whopped my ass. I mean the score was 3 v 2 but it definitely felt like i was getting my ass handed to me. The second Jack I fought rushed me down and even hit me with a semi infinite? Like dude carried me across the entire stage until I was damaged enough to be knocked a bit farther from his hits. I barley scratched him I really couldn't do much. Especially with him and that fucking poke kick! Third Jack edge guarded the mess outta me. With the slash and that string of attacks he does that has like a delayed final attack. And now today I take on 3 Jack in ranked back to back and beaten them all, although their skill lvl wasn't as good as the first few I fought out of rank.

And what pisses me off more about him is that hes so good but Agent Smith is like.... nowhere near his level despite the GRIND it took to get him. For people complaining that he’s locked behind the Battle Pass, be realistic. For 950 Gleamium, that’s actually cheaper than the price of a normal character, and you get a full battle pass of content. Plus he’s tier 1 so you don’t even have to grind for it.

What are the counter arguments ? He is combo food ? Iron giant is the same, though is still broken lol. Has a bad disavantage ? Neither, as he has lots of fast move to regain the terrain and ground with gigantic hitboxes to cover his recovery. I don t see any bad points on his part.

I never feel cheated fighting Jack and never have trouble countering him. You people who are still saying moves are unpunishable need to just get good at the game at this point. With how many Jack's I've been fighting I'm even getting the timing down to Pary most of his moves. Even the teleport slash move is able to be paryd and feels so rewarding when you do so. People need to stop asking for nerfs within a week of a character being released.
