Don't put PC parts in a plastic container like this. While heavily used, core, graphics core and memory can produce a lot of heat which can melt the plastic . Laptop cases usually have thin metal spraying to protect plastic from the heat. When I disassembled my old laptop the metal spraying even had colors of case hardening in place where core is located so I guess if I'd put it in a plastic container it would just melt holes in it.

Yeah, I have done this type of build and I like using wood as my basis for the build. I ALWAYS use a barrier of aluminum between the wood and the motherboard to dissipate the heat. Aluminum is very cheap, light and very effective.

plastics like polyethylene has the lowest melting point, with LDPE and HDPE melting at about 120 °C and 130 °C, respectively, plastics used in laptops have a higher melting point, a cpu thermal throttles at about 95 degrees, so no enough temperature to melt holes in your plastic, before that your cpu will shut down.

No battery I'm assuming you have it plugged directly and I didn't see a vent for the hot air to escape, all the fans is going to do is move the hot air around. But still it's a good concept. Thinking of making these and giving it to poor people in México That need a computer. cheap enough that they won't be able to sell for much and better to keep in long run.

1. Difficult to watch when you cut... you can easily cut your self. 2. Better to connect fan by USB then soldering it... because there will be not enough power for many devices which you connect to the same USB. 3. using glue for power connection are not good idea (you should done something like was with power button. 4. It's really stupid idea to use hot air on battery... 5. I will put custom cooler which can be passive in case like this by mounted bigger heatsink. Tip: when you cut plastic in future don't use knife like this without gloves... just much better to use hot thin wire.

I would simply add a ac to dc adaptor for the fan...taking power from a old lappy motherboard for 5 volt dc fan that too with rgb light, i simply would like to avoid that..!! As it would reduce the life of that complicated thing..!

This works but Honestly not realistic off what I want to do with a project like this honestly my man reason for looking into this is so I can get a broken laptop then mount a much better cooler to it. Take an i7 laptop for example which is restricted for airflow and doesn't get max performance. Well if you gave that i7 a hyper 212 eco it would get maximum performance and would be an incredible experience but in the constricted chassis of the laptop it's very limited.

Literally no one... Where is the hot air exhaust? You have that poor CPU cooling itself off air that isint going anywhere or even over the heatsink at all. And also... Why solder the fan to the USB 5v when you have a perfectly good 5v fan header already on the board?
