I guess when you have such an incompetent military, you need to idolize the best! Haha, had to say it :) Anyway… There’s a lot of nice detail going on. The equipment is pretty spot on. But, there’s just too much stuff on the figure. I understand it’s just to showcase all the accessories. We have a saying in the US military “ounces equal pounds”, meaning carry as light as you can because you will feel every ounce after hiking 10 miles in the Afghan mountains or 120 degree heat in Iraq. And another is “speed equals life”, meaning you want to be able to maneuver as fast as you can, so don’t weigh yourself down with too much gear. Some notes on accuracy… The US military has moved away from putting 40mm launchers on rifles (we have a stand-alone platform). The Elcan optic is on backwards. Tier 1 operators (even some Tier 2) rarely carry a pistol anymore (even rarer to run a suppressed pistol). The American flag that’s on the left shoulder, should be on the right shoulder, so that the stars are forward. The small headlamp on the helmet should be a dual light (one red and one white). The monkey tail (nylon cord with carabiners on each end) is usually centered on the backside. Usually it’s not an American flag patch on the chest it’s an adopted unit insignia (like a punisher logo or black beard’s flag). Most operators have a dump pouch on their left side of the belt (usually just passed the hip). The radio antenna should be weaved into the rear mole webbing of the plate carrier. Nobody runs dual stack drop leg pouches. Battle belts are 2 pieces. The pouches mount to the outer piece, which then velcroes to the inner piece which is run through the belt loops on the pants. The tourniquet on the plate carrier should be closer to centerline of body and easy to get to. And something looks off with the MBITR radio (just can’t out my finger on it).

This isnt a replication of infantrymen, this is an exact replica of how Voodoo looks in the game. His kit is spot on for Medal of Honor. When have videogames ever been truly accurate to what we carry into combat

@@2-1Bravo I used to play COD back in the day. But because I was a late joiner to the military, I was 22, so I became a “boot daddy”. I always had to be the mature grown up since everyone else was still a teenager. My MOS was 37F (PsyOps) in 7th group/12th battalion from 2002-2007, then a contractor in 2008. I embedded with Rangers and various Big Army units. Did things like SSE, battlefield questioning, various VSO support tasks, putting up wanted posters, inserting of spiked rounds into enemy caches, etc. I did see a fair bit of action because I would always volunteer for embedded ops.
