Worth noting that 2000 rounds of brass cased 9mm costs almost as much as two GX2s and is likely a higher round count than many shooters will run through one handgun in a lifetime. I've had no problems with any of my Taurus pistols - nice to see this new one is also a winner.

Yeah man, I miss the 2019 prices on 9. I was getting brass cased ball in 115 and 124 for 16 cents and steel cased for 12 cents. The good ole days. I think we're being ripped off by the ammo companies now. The stuff is stacked deep and high everywhere around here. At the current prices no wonder people aren't buying.

Work at a shop I'd bet 90% of guns will NEVER hit 2k ... I see guys sho buy and sell tons and they shot 100-500rd toss it in safe and in 18 months 4 years later there trading it for the new thing

I purchased the GX2 Saturday put 200 rounds threw it so far I've had 2 malfunctions nothing major just had to tap the back of the slide and kept running I also have an OG GX4 with 42k rounds threw it that was verified by Taurus before it broke. I'm in a Taurus G Series group on Facebook and mentioned it on that platform and the Head of Taurus Marketing Caleb Giddings messaged me told me to send it in and they replaced all the internals in the frame and replaced the slide, barrel and all the parts in the slide practically sent me a new gun.

The gx4carry is the best !! No joke I have bunch carry guns , most double the cost and its my favorite ..just soft and runs smooth never had one issue at 900-1000 rds over 18 months maybe ..maybe a year ..but its been great

First off, great videos! It's because of your reviews I decided to pick up a GX2, it seemed like a good gun for the money. Unfortunately, I had to send it back to the factory to have it looked at. I was having repeated issues of jamming when loading the first round. When it did load the first round, the rest typically all fired without issue, but would still occasionally jam mid-magazine. I understand these things can happen, it's a brand new gun in their lineup. After getting in contact with them, I provided a video of what was happening and they agreed something wasn't right. Taurus is standing behind their product and paid for the shipping back to them to have it fixed. Just wanted to share my experience with it so far. Keep up the great content 👍

I have the Taurus g3c and Taurus tx22 absolutely love them they are great guns. I basically bought g3c for carry so here I got the bug for another 9mm but couldn't see buying the gx2 just seemed like all I would be upgrading would be getting one extra round in the mag. So I bought the canik tp9sf elite I hear it's a great gun.

I own two G2C’s, hundreds of rounds through each. The only malfunction I’ve had is with steel cased ammo. I appreciate the cost vs benefit ratio of Taurus. You get a good gun, even at the price paid. Sure, people have gotten lemons, probably at a greater rate than from one of the bigger manufacturers, but all in all, Taurus produces great guns. My two cents.

Gene , did you fire any Fiocchi rounds ? I had a couple of light primer strikes in the 150 rounds I shot thru the gun. It ate everything else I fired without any issues ., I have shot 600 rounds thru my GX2…

I wasn’t shooting any Fiocchi however I done a whole video about 8 months ago about a bad batch of 1000 Fiocchi I purchased. At least 3 per box and I proved it was the ammo.

"Yeah, whatever". 😉 I still think you should eventually clean this thing up, take up a collection to get it cerakoted in some Easter Bunny pastel color to rejuvenate it from the gravel abuse. In the meantime, I get the appeal of just passively seeing how far it can go. Sounds fun as long as you aren't forcing 4k more rounds through it in some rapid death march and bank-account emptying style. If you continue to enjoy shooting it at an affordable ammo pace, have a ball!

The gun was cleaned at 1200 rounds and was just cleaned again today. It will take a while to get to that many rounds of course but I intent to do it
