I got my Cinemizer Glasses in today and tried them out with the inspire 1 and I am very please how well and how easy they were to use. I was a little concerned if they would work for me because I have mono vision. but I was able to quickly adjust them for each eye. After playing around with them and the Inspire 1, for me the best set up is to use them on the slave controller. I am not brave enough to just fly the Inspire by FPV unless I am high enough in the air that I can't run into anything.

Wow, those glasses are insanely flexible in terms of what you can do with them!Use it for FPV Flight in the summer, Movie on the bus, Video gaming at home in the winter. Just insanity! It's like the Bugatti Veyron of FPV Goggles!

HI Dave!! Great Review. I think I'm about 3 years late however. I have a Dji Phantom 3 and I want basically the exact setup you are describing. I want something sleek with not a lot of cables. Can you tell me what my options would be? or what is the replacement that will work with the Phantom 3 and I'm going to be getting an Inspire 1. Thank so much!! Joe

What is acceptable pupil distance range for these glasses? I see they do not have adjustment for it. So what is it?

These sound nice but why would they chose to have the glasses colored white? They may as well paint eyes on them for me....white looks goofy.

White is great. It doesn't get hot in sunny days when you do fly FPV. I don't like a heater on my eyes.

what is the field of view? how do they compare to fatsharks when using the 640x480 fpv cam input? wish there was a high def vtx, and vrx out there that we could have. wish list stuff, i guess..

30˚ Field of View. As a user of a range of goggle types commonly used in FPV I can say the cinemizer optics are at the top of the list and show the FPV link very well. It will be nice once higher res fpv links are out, but not sure that's happening in the short term on a larger scale. As that happens however I think glasses/goggles like this will stand tall through those technology changes. Wish list for sure! :) There's a link in the video description that will take you to the cinemizer page for a full list of specs.

Okay 1. How will this use headtracking with xbox 360 games? 2. Does this fill all of your vision with no black around the display? If I am paying 800 dollars for an hd display on my face and NOTHING else that is not worth it. Get some colors, positional tracking, Try and get microsoft to support headtracking with you device, If this does not support your whole vision like your competitor sorry guys but this thing is bad.

Product looks great but price is not! Too bad and for this price, we can expect some applying with Android products too!

There is actually a phone adapter for Android products. Search this item name on the ReadyMadeRC site if interested: "Zeiss Smart Phone HDMI Adapter Kit". Unfortunately, Android manufacturers use several different types of adapters to export to HDMI so it would be virtually impossible to have an adapter for each device. With this kit, a user can go to their mobile phone store and buy the correct adapter for their device then use the kit to connect the cinemizer. It's true they are a premium priced glasses set, but the options and quality really justify the price.

calidave88 Thanks for your answear! Like i said it is great product, i can of course accept to do not use it on my phone (my main using sould be for FPV lol)! But for me price is crucial criteria and it's more expensive than my house taxes lol Have a great week and keep doing your great job!

@calidave88

Serious. The cinemizer glasses are top of the line and feature options you simply don't find with other goggle based options. Like with many premium level products there is a premium level price tag, and while that simply might not fit into the budget or feel justified for some, for those who are looking options like the cinemizer glasses offer the price is justified, and many many happy FPV pilots who I've spoken to who've used other goggle options and won't go back. The beauty is there are other great options out there, they just won't cover many of the "above and beyond" options the cinemizers offer. For instance, many who use glasses will find the independent diopter control a great value so they can have the immersive FPV experience over using a video monitor.

Its a fashion statement for people that have more money than sense. This hobby is expensive as it is so anyone that can afford a TBS quadcopter can afford one of these but that doesn't make it an intelligent purchase. There is the SkyZone goggles that has better video than the Fatshark, head tracking and has built in 2 radios for diversity and receives all 32 channels including the ones that Fatshark uses and that set of goggles is ~half the cost than these. BMSWEB reviewed the other goggles 3 days ago.

0917bobb - You have a right to your opinion, but I don't think you're comparing apples to apples on this one as options are quite different between the two. Each has it's own features that would appeal to different groups and why there is a market for more than one glasses/goggle type. I'm not saying these are for everyone, otherwise there'd only be one type used, but for some they are looking and the cinemizer glasses are a nice choice if the options fit their needs. I don't know anyone who has purchased these because they're trying to make a fashion statement, that and the price comment are clearly your bias on this one, but again, you can have your opinion. ;)

calidave88 it was just a few years ago that we didn't have gopros and antenna trackers, and lipos, so i hope it's not too long until hi def downlink video. enerlinks provides it, but don;t sell to the public. used on military uav's. maybe soon. o would just like goggles that have a similar field of view to the wide angle camera, or the human eye, for a more immersive experience. thanks for poitin out that they will still work when the high def links come. very true, because they are the only thing out there right now that will still work.

White is perfect because it will not absorb the sunlight as opposed to black goggles.

Absolutely WAY overpriced 800 bucks that's nuts, i don't care how clear they are you can keep them for that price. i cant imagine many people ponying up that much for these, Sure they are nice and have allot of features and adapters for them (THAT YOU HAVE TO BUY SEPARATELY !!!) all the adapters should come with them for the 800 your asking for them. We need a decent pare of FPV Goggles couple of hundred dollars should be more than enough to cover the cost of producing and a decent profit for the manufacturer to make money and to be honest they would make more because more people would be willing to shell out 2 hundred dollars for a decent pair of FPV headgear, Fat Sharks are nice but they are in the same boat as Zeiss to expensive specifically when you cant relay tell what the picture quality will be like until you simply buy a pair. Sure there are allot of different reviews on youtube and other sites stating how great the FatShark and the Zeiss viewers are however everyone has different eyes and no 2 people see the same so back to my earlier statement you would get more people willing to risk they simply would not work for them if the price were more reasonable, Anyway i doubt the manufacturers care what i think just thought i should vent. maybe one of the manufacturers will see this post and consider what i have said before they build their next production line of FPV Product.

So you don't have to watch a longer video! :) - Sorry if that video is a bit edit heavy. I run all the production by myself so it's a bit challenging to know the product, be concise, ensure the production is setup properly and no bore you... the viewer. But feedback taken, and I'm always trying to get shots with as few edits as possible as they can be jarring.
