Idk where you live where you can get a 2011 and up for 3500 everything i've seen has them at anywhere from 6-8k but if i can drive a couple hundred miles to save 3-5k I'd totally do that and just ride it back xD

A 250, 300 it's ideal for a new rider, a 750 bike is a big bike capable of high speeds specially if its a sports bike and it's not for a beginner. Never learn on a sports bike its harder to learn slow speed manuvers, get a naked one instead. Stay safel, ride defensifely.

Is disagree I honestly advise skipping the 250 class all together, I mean dude I’m 5’2 130 lbs and I started on a sv650, it never felt like too much and I learned good proper throttle control in weeks. Those 250s literally teach you to wide open the throttle constantly. Also 250s are genuinely too small for me and I’m as tiny of a guy as you can be 😂. The 650 naked class is by far the best for new riders because it teaches you every bit of respect you need for bigger bikes, without most of the asinine risk that comes with starting on a gsxr 750. You can do anything on a 650, they’re affordable, not too big or too powerful to learn slow speed maneuvers effectively I just honestly see no reason for starting on a 250. Do 250s still even get manufactured? I’m asking honestly bc I’ve never met a person in real life who actually owned one bc no one wants them
