I prefer solder to crimp connections but it's not for everyone. I taught soldering techniques in the Navy so I have the knowledge to do it properly. Many a person solders wiring not understanding that they can do further damage and should stick with crimp connectors. Solder provides a molecular connection giving a more secure connection physically and electrically but you need to understand that using to much solder and heat can cause the wire to become brittle and just give you a problem for the future to work on.

I have a question. I have a 2002 gsxr 1000 I just bought the guy tapped into the gauge wires a lot of times, looks clean but one of the connectors gets hot and when I fiddle with it the speedo etc flickers what should I do

Hi jackson.. I having trouble with code c32 and c33 code mean two injectors i have disnounted the all injectors inspected outside is spraying perfectly.. But when mounted back now bike is not starting... Fuel pump ok... Throttle ok.. Plugs is ok some other friend s says the is sensor ground.. They others says you should peel the injector wireharness follow the wire... i dont know what to do because i dont want do unnecessary peeling the wireness ...so is that any suggest from your site.. ???

have you ever run across a 2002 gsxr 750 that overheats and dies and will barley crank when the engine gets to about 190? I had the coolant flushed twice and the thermostat and water pump replaces and checked. Engine will start fine at 1st but after riding it for a while even at high speeds the engine gets hot and the stator cover get super hot. The stator and regulator have been replaced. The fuel pump also makes a weird noise when you engage the key and motorcycle on switch. I have been told it could be the grounds, or the starter or even the fuel pump. I have no codes going off. I hope this makes sense. Any help I can get would bee appreciated.

Sir I need your help. I have one problem with 1992 Suzuki gsx1100 cdi unit wiring. Actually this engine fitted on a desert car. I don't know this wiring because of I'm a car mechanic. I know only 7 wires coming to cdi unit and three wires from signal generator. One wire earthing to the signal generator and one 5v reference voltage and one wire return line but I don't know this wire connect to which pin of the cdi unit.
