😆💯 I may as well watch the guide included with the add-on. Which i may do, eventually, which did help w/ prior challenges & such, but given the many that have done this now, I'll aim to refine my 1st-pass-bronzes. I shut off the Hamilton ghost, had tcs on 2 (asm on &) w/ oversteer correct off & felt tons of tire scrub (pad-user in this case) & some lag from tcs. Kind of like the flutter w/ rain... I may give the T80 wheel a run for fun w/o the ghost again to gauge which really offers me a better time. 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁

I did it on pad ( steering sensitivity on 7 is required )... But would have done it definitly faster if i already had a steering wheel for ps4. 😅

@@fondfarewell2 but i'm normally already a wheel driver & have better use to the wheel... + it's easier to stay on constant laps with the wheel... Once your used to the wheel i think you can get faster because the car always exactly does what you are doing.

@@Lalovoe using motion controls has actually enabled me to beat 8 out of 10 of the challenges in this dlc, and now that I'm properly used to it, I might be able to beat all 10 now. Motion Controls definitely help!

Literally just came across your channel as I'm getting to grips with the LH challenges (beat him on Platinum at Maggiore, Monza & Nords so far), but I decided I needed a few tips and guidance on a few tracks (basically on my 'not so favourite tracks'). Superb piloting skills all-round btw, you've without a doubt a ranged set of piloting skills and talent in regards to driving, particularly your entry in I may say - trail braking into corners and of course your patience on throttle on exit (where most go wrong with these two fundamental techniques). I'm at a little disadvantage, though I've no idea quite how much of one, I'm having to use the gamepad's motion controller (the sixaxis that came with PS4 pads and thankfully the PS5 DualSense too otherwise I'd be screwed - I was fortunate to get a PS5) but I use this arrangement simply because I have no use of my legs (paraplegic). Granted this type of control is far from ideal with the lack of any force-feedback but it's far more intuitive compared with that of a simple gamepad's joystick as I'm sure you can imagine but it's all I've at my disposal at the moment. So.. to my question: I wonder if you'd advise if you're able, you've clearly a pretty decent setup there in your description and I'm presuming you've plenty of experience too in the land of racing sims - so would you know of a steering-wheel setup (boss and wheel) which either has extra analogue paddles for throttle and brake on the wheel itself (as well as the regular shifting gearchange paddles though I'm not wedded to these as such, I could use digital buttons elsewhere on the wheel as the gearchange and the default assigned gearchange paddles were actually analogue themselves so I could use them for Throttle+Brake?). I know they do exist, either as separate paddle sets or singular pairs but knowing of their existence and knowing which ones are suitable, particularly for GT Sport and up to the task is something I'm struggling with. When asking these questions on the more popular channels my comment requests never seem to get seen. I'm hoping this one does as it would be gratefully appreciated if you'd advise, or perhaps one of your subscribers, on a decent wheel setup with these specifications if you're able? Thank you in advance, and you have a new sub anyway. Sorry to be so long-winded, just wanted to give you as much info as possible. TL;DR: - I need a wheel that has analogue paddles for Throttle and Brake as I've no use of my legs.

For instance.. would Fanatec's "Podium Steering Wheel R300" suit my requirements? It looks to have additional Analogue paddles which I presume could be used as Throttle & Brake? (I suspect they're primarily designed for clutch adjustment which is why they're placed where you're only using them in certain situations, not all the time as I would be using them as throttle and brake). Not sure how natural it would fell having to place my little finger and/or with/or without my fourth finger to operate those but it's along the lines I'm looking for, I'm simply hoping there are others with this type of arrangement but with these analogue paddles (progressive analogue levers) placed at a more convenient position so as I can use my first and maybe middle finger[s] to operate it on a consistent basis.

Hi, thank you for the comment. I don’t know a wheel with analog buttons as throttle/brake on the wheel. In GT Sport it’s possible to use wheel and controller simultaneous. So if you find a way to fix a controller on top of your wheel it’s possible to use the L/R whips as throttle/brake with your fingers. Maybe the best would be to post your question on gtplanet.net in the forums section. I think there were people with the same issue in the past.

@@zocker1990 Sorry for the delay, was rudely interrupted and had to briefly take myself away from researching all this after your intriguing comments, but I've now checked out that link you shared. I did have a brief glance at that gtplanet.net forum but hadn't as yet found anything relevant but now you've certainly saved me a lot of time with your second linked recommendation. Thank you again for taking the time to do that, it's really appreciated you doing that for me and it would appear there are few disabled racers in similar discussion. I've come across this before of sorts in my quest in trying to sort this out though in fairness this thread you point to on gtplanet are at least trying to come up with workable solutions despite the lack of customer base and the requirements of something rather bespoke to get it all to work. This is of course the problem which I understand, there's not going to be much of a market for a large corporation to build a specific setup for someone of this limited ability which made me wonder if there were any coincidental applications that might by chance offer what I'm after - which lead me to that "Podium Steering Wheel R300" from Fanatec that has the analogue clutch levers - which incidentally.. does mention they can be used as throttle and brake if required. I'm just not sure how comfortable they would be on a long-term basis considering what fingers I'd be using and maybe on full lock? Perhaps other considerations I haven't thought of too but they were designed for clutch engagement so aren't to be used often, hence their placement low-down at the bottom behind the wheel. Anyway, there's much more to read on that same thread you sent so I'll continue to see what others have proposed. Much of it talks about old Thrustmaster wheels for PS3 but I've heard these are hard to find and may not be compatible anymore though perhaps some bright-spark might be able to get it to work with more modern tech? Who knows. One of those companies seems to make similar "contraptions" as to what I'm actually using in my real everyday car, with an accelerator ring and brake lever. Mine's a manual (hate and refuse to drive wankomatics) so I also have a servo clutch to aid gear changes but which broke one day and left me in the lurch, but... forced me to learn to crash the box to get home and since then I've never gone back (once you've learnt to crash the box by matching engine revs to road speed for each respective gear it's not that hard. Anyway, I digress!). Would just love to drive on Sims with a similar if not far superior setup and you've helped immensely, when I ask most just can't be bothered quite frankly (though I suspect it's such a bizarre request they probably don't know what to suggest). Although I'm not good enough to get every track diamond, I got everyone gold EXCEPT the Nurburgring GP. I don't know what it is about that track, but the closest to gold I got was by one second. It's DIFFICULT!

Great driving and great video. I notice that you set the Brake Bias, but didn't adjust it whilst lapping? Do you think you could go even faster if you did?

Hi, I probably could go faster in theory with different BB for every turn. The problem is I need to get into the "flow" for a car and by changing the BB the car will feel different what distracts me. So even I would have a better braking distance for a special turn I probably couldn't place the car precise enough and would be slower in the end.

I can complete every race in the game get gold on all the challenges but as soon as I try this DLC I can only get bronze :( this car does not turn at all even on sensitivity 7 when he goes around corners he don't slow down I have to ever single corner so annoying wasted my money buying it bcus ain't ever going to be able to do it

Ok buddy when you really think about it its skills meaning determine the best points for the following acceleration, top speed, braking and cornering all of which require consistency and each track always different. The diamond sets the challenge but believe that once you find the lines you'll get to the line before Hamiltons ghost hence why his replay demos are there and his support of speech to get there.
