Drivers before have been banned but since it is possible to create a new profile then that too failed. I couldn't be bother so I left GT Sport. Same happens on other games but I seem to have better fun racing in leagues on ACC. Sad to see Aliens having to experience this. Despite the criticism Kie is a driver I respect a lot. I learned from him and became brutally faster than A+ drivers me using the worse cars. Gutted to see this. I'm one who often criticized GT Sport systems and it's not because I didn't love the game. Been around since GT1.

The game should make them pit for a certain amount of time and if they keep doing it after 3 or 4 times then they get disqualified.

You can literally tell how dirty he drives by the looks of his car. Most of the veyrons in the video always have a black paint, and this guy has some sort of a "riced" up fuschia veyron, which in my experience, most trolls in a racing game like this tend to always pick the most brightest colors for their ride.

Good on "SeeFusion" for letting you pass him at the line after seeing what was going on. I mean, giving a place for P11 means nothing, but at least this guy can recognize that you were owed that position.

The problem with them not addressing this on GTS now is it will put people off bothering with GT7.

Suppose : You start with 1000 points SR, each penalty deducts points from SR. You can only take part in FIA races when you have 800 SR or higher (just calling out a number). You can only take part in Dailies if you have 500 SR or higher (again ... fictional). You can only do arcade mode if you have 150 SR or higher ... Players with < 150 SR are relegated to the " Sportmanship Series" and offline / arcade mode. eg.: a system that ensures higher quality for higher tier races. Idea?

There isn't a really good way to fix the system as it is today. It works, but the problem is, when you're in a lower SR lobby, the only way to race competitively is to play avoiding defensive and stay out of the way, or fight back. This hinders progress. I personally blame Forza and the like. Some drivers truly think this is the way the game is supposed to be played, because they have played Need for Speed and Forza their whole lives and it's completely satisfactory to play bumper cars.

Ruining everyone's experience. In Interlagos last week it seemed to be much easier to get SR downs (different settings?). At least he'd be sent straight into the lower SR ranks. No punishment at all is a disservice to the majority of drivers/customers who are trying to race and have fun during the precious spare time we have available. Hello PD?

Dick dastardly rules. The fact is PD abandoned it's base by only releasing Sport for Ps4. It's casuals that made the game popular. Elitists wanted online pvp races and tourneys. Then they cried when they got it because the casuals weren't even given a decent single player. I stuck with GT6 but it became unplayable. PD abandoned it and multiple tracks just stopped working. If casuals wanted any kind of Gran Turismo experience on the Ps4 they had to get sport. It's easy to say they're ruining everybody's experience but the fact is PD ruined their experience.

I agree. They can't put a rear view mirror but they can(in the past) put red warning messages right on the line of sight in the middle of the screen. GTS should give us a mirror and copy ACC's radar.

Yeah, its still the same with GT7 Im always in S but a week or 2 ago there was a very dirty race where i got hit into the back full speed sending me into the gravel multiple times. No side contact, just getting rear ended and i went from S to A. Like wtf. GT needs to sort that shit out cause its getting very annoying to race like that.

I feel the frustration.. I try to get my DR up and you get into these lobby’s when ppl play bumper cars are ruin everyone’s race. Yes driver errors will happen it’s part of the game but some ppl shouldn’t be allowed in higher lobby’s

Ive stoped playing because of driving like this worst thing is the FIA races are almost just as bad if you not top 5 defo not getting a clean race and even the top races racing for less than 250 will ram you to gain 5 extra points. Dudes never experienced the exhilaration of clean racing and ruin the experience for the ones who try to be clean

I have the full race from my perspective up and can't see anywhere I took anyone out just trying to take evasive action.

Im fairly new to GT sport and I loved it. Got a newer wheels and a racing seat etc. Had a few bastards punt me off in races and I had to step away from the game for a few weeks. Went over to ACC instead. GT gotta get their shit together for GT7 or they're gonna lose the respect of the SIM racing community. Which is a shame cuz I really like GT sport.

Penalty system was a lot more strict a few months ago, lead to clean racing. A strict system is a lot better than a lenient system.

When you're racing against a clean driver or two it can lead to awesome racing because you don't have to worry about a little door bumping leading to a penalty. Something else is that the penalty system never really consistently punished the guys who just run you wide when you're on the outside. I think that drives me more crazy than the punts and spins

Gran turismo 7 gives me penalties because the guy in front couldn’t take a corner correctly , so his spin out causes me to hit him and I get slapped with a 3 sec penalty for colliding into car… love it

The absolute worst here in the NA region. Your best bet is that he runs off in the lead and leaves the rest to race. He’s aggravatingly quick but if he’s not winning he’s going to put you off track until he is. Has ruined many of our races here.

If anyone is struggling w 'dirty' drivers, i highly recommend looking for dirty lobby's to join so you can learn how to defend and attack against said drivers. I did this for over a year and improved my game by heaps. Clean racing is super easy now...

as a recently B promoted racer, i must say that the lower tier races are cleaner than the A and S tiers i see on youtube. also, theres no difference in safety rating S and E. btw you dont follow the #1 tip for safer racing... avoid monza.. 🤣

Left a long time ago. Build good rating just to have a supposed higher, good driver run me off the track. If I start in the back and work my way higher just to have racers run me off the track to get ahead. My rating would drop huge whether I moved out of the way or got hit. I stopped the daily races because nothing was done. And the racer who knocked you to kingdom come keeps the position and high rating.

I simply cannot get a clean race no matter what I do. My safety rating keeps going down because the penalty system is messed up. I get hit, I save the car from a spin, and tap the guy who rammed me, and I get 2 seconds. I'm done because the PEOPLE are ruining a great game.

Gran Turismo is for all so banning will never happen. I think there should be up/down voting at the end of each race. If someone drives well you can vote them up. If someone is a dirty player then you can vote them down. PD then can automate the analysis of the up/down votes from the drivers in the races to see trends for players and take appropriate action. With this PD would not need to have people reviewing the races, so this would work for a game as popular as Gran Turismo. Also, demoting these dirt players to lower lobbies is not appropriate as it means players who are trying to drive clean and are working hard to improve their ability to get into more competitive races would be penalised because of other peoples down votes. My suggestion for dealing with this is Limbo Lobbies. Players who consistently drive dirty are moved to a parallel set of lobbies (Limbo Lobbies) where all dirty drivers are put. With the requirement to be considered to drive cleanly before being permitted back into the main Lobbies. Repeat offenders spend longer in Limbo Lobbies even if driving cleanly there so there is a real impact on them. In this way if someone wants to drive dirty then they can stay in the Limbo Lobbies and continue to play the game. While for those trying to drive cleanly, no matter their skill, they can have good races and focus on improving their ability and enjoying Gran Turismo. It also means those who decide to change their ways get the chance to race cleanly with others. Side Note: As most videos I see are A rated lobbies it amazes me that players have the skill at this level and then decide to wreck their racing by driving dirty.

I met him as well on the same track and he tried to ruin my race, what he finally did. I than tried to reach out Sony to terminate him from GT 7. I was some how frustrated to recognise, that this opportunity isn`t existing. Some more from his format could motivate me to switch to ACC.

It only takes about a day or two of maybe an hour or two a day to get back up in DR. SR can be improved in a matter of 30 minutes with the correct daily race. I recently got kicked down to the C lobbies (because of two rage quits in FIA races which really kills SR) and made it back up to A in 3 days.

They need to introduce an indicator that shows dirty drivers and a vote to kick option so when an indicated dirty driver enters a lobby, during practice others in the lobby can post their vote and if enough votes are cast e.g. 50%+ of the lobby then they get kicked. That has worked well in grand theft auto to get rid of the griefers.

The best way to handle this is to have damage done to the vehicle. Whereas each crash effects drive performance and the one causing the collision would have more serious loss of performance.

The problem is GT does not penalize properly these guys. I don't get how it could be A+. If you take a look to his SR historic rating, you will notice he is not able to maintain the S for long time. This kind of guys should be banned

The dirtiest driver on GT sport in my opinion and had put me of playing the game is “Zinc Inclusive” is actions took me from an A racer to a C in 2 weeks , I just can’t play the game anymore I’ve reported him after races at least 50 times , a shame as I love this game and 90 % of other drivers are good and fair

Damage is not the answer we tried that in FIA and it was terrible, ping pong physics destroyed half the grid every single race & nobody learned from it.

1st week on gt7 one person managed to take out and hold back the entire field I had something like a 14second lead 1st lap this person has got nothing on what I witnessed and saved.. I agree with you 100%. But I'm afraid the penalty system will also be at the bottom of the priority list for GT7. PD has shown us again and again over the past few years that it doesn't seem to be interested in this topic. GT7 will look great with its ray tracing effects and will offer a better single player. But the multiplayer will be a fiasco again.
