I like this method. As I saw commented on another video, cutting the belt diagonally and using a longer ribbon to cover the seem makes the meshed area much larger increasing the strength of the splice.

This is not going to have any precision for positioning unless you mate it with another segment of belt while joining. Even then the difference in elasticity might show as positioning errors as the joint crosses pulleys.

@@prashantrajput2801 i just bought a closed looped already and just add thread-less bolt on center to tension it… this is too hard to me tried every method and still cut off…
