For most road circuits, the Redbull wins against the Toamhawk. That is what it was made for.

Nope, the Tomahawk is literally designed to be the most optimal car in any kind of track. The SRT wins in almost every case
@ChrisFerreOliveira7 жыл бұрын
I've not played GT6 in quite some time, but I still can't understang the SRT Tomahawk. How can this car beat the Red Bull, which is supposed to be the perfect racing car? It might be fast, but this handling and breaking is sooo stupid. For it to have this performance, it should at least look like a racing car - perfect aerodynamics and a fan, just like the X2014 -, but it just looks like any average concept car. It's like watching a Lamborghini beating a F1 in both speed and handling. Ridiculous
@HSGAutomotive7 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't disagree with that assessment xD The best way to look at the two cars is that the RedBull takes a very serious approach to what a car like that would be like, whereas the Tomahawk takes it purely from the ''lets have some silly fun with this'' school of thinking.
@johncarl55056 жыл бұрын
ChrisFerreOli the redbull concept car is designed with modern technology in mind, while the srt is designed for a time when we have invented state of the art “fuck physics” technology.

You should have put them on the Nurburgring. I've gotten 3:53 with the Tomahawk and 3:58 with the X11. The tomahawk wasn't quite as fast in the low speed corners but high-speed corners and the straightaways saved it's lap time.

The Tomahawk also has a 3:17 lap around the Nordschleife, not only huge acceleration and top speed. So I can't see why Red Bull costs 6 times more.

If we're honest about it, its most probably ego, since the X1's represent the whole 'fastest race car designed by Gran Turismo' ethos.

Well this isnt clearly as fair of a competition when you think about it. Let alone if you tune it properly both cars beat eachother. Its better to compare them stock instead of tuned. Then the cars have as equal amount of chance to win as their rival. If i were the judge id say the red bull x2011 wins hands down. It is more fun to drive on a circuit and its basically a hyper formula car. And since gran turismo is all about racing the redbull has the advantage of being a race car. Plus ive drven both cars in the game. The tomahawk x is just an annoyance which is basically a land speed record car using a regular car engine. Yes its cheaper than the x2011 but it just lacks the proper fun. The tomahawk x in the end is just impossible to drive unless you let the ai drive it or letting a pro drive it. And the red bull is much easier to learn because it has the steering feel of a fighter plane of world war 2. The tomahawk act like an arcade car killing the fun to drive it. And again if i were the judge, id say the red bull wins without questions

These match-ups aren't based on opinion, mine or anyones. They are purely based on the facts. As it happens, of course the RedBull is a superior circuit racer - as I said in the video. But the Tomahawk still wins for pure spec.
@teodor99758 жыл бұрын
::: HammerStudiosGaming ::: pure spec is allround performance. As far as i know the tomahawk x is buildt for pure speed, which means it lacks agility.
@HSGAutomotive8 жыл бұрын
teodor99 No, pure spec is precisely that - just numbers. Cars with lower numbers can and do beat cars with bigger numbers all the time. And as I've said in pretty much every episode of this series - the whole comparison is purely for fun.
@teodor99758 жыл бұрын
if it is that ''pure spec'' then there is a few errors. yes cars with lower performance points can beat higher pp cars but that depends on track and driver skill. im convinced pure spec is allround performance as in how fast can go? how good is it in diffrent tracks. how agile is it. and so on. the srt tomahawk is faster in straightline performance but 1 tight turn is killing it. special stage route 7 is in the tomahawk advantage. just as a twisty circuit favours the redbull. its a very good comparison with both cars. but 1 track isnt enough to determine which of them wins. i decided to do a comparison aswell and heres is the score so far Speed, power and value goes to the tomahawk agility, track performance, and driving feel goes to the red bull. both cars has 3 points each so ill settle it with an allround performance test by driving both at 5 diffrent tracks ill drive them at sillverstone GP circuit, Monza, circuit de spa, circuit de la sarthe and special stage route 7.
I have seen the red bull x2010 s.vettel in a video

the beauty of these cars, despite not being real... they could be. just no ones crazy enough to try and build them. and even if they where built who the fuck would drive them? you'd need to hire NASA astronauts AND F1 race car drivers just to test them. thats a lot of money.
@theminec2 жыл бұрын
You couldn't build the tomahawk x and have any downforce compared to the game version. The active aero on the tomahawk hovers above the car, while is very impossible. The tomahawk Is too unrealistic as it was built without any regards to real life, meanwhile the red bull was designed with real world physics at the centrepiece.
@whitehavencpu68139 ай бұрын
X2011 is far more realistic - its like if you combined an F1 car with an LMP1 car and removed all regulatory restrictions, sort of like the 919 evo in real life. Its clear that a lot of theorizing was put into developing such a car. Perhaps the most outlandish part about it is how capable the fan is at generating down-force even at high speeds, I think it shouldn't be able to take corners as fast as it does, given that it seems to have less aero than F1 cars. Fans tend to work best at low speed corners and hence they were banned in F1 comps as it let the driver take slow corners faster than competing f1 cars, while it performed the same as other f1 cars on turns and on straights. Unless, the fan is actually a much faster one with much more suction, which would require a secondary engine of sorts, which then would lead to more weight or other issues. Of course there's also the fact that there aren't any tires that can handle such speeds in corners in real life, as well as the horizontal G-force at such speeds would leave most drivers unconscious. Overall, its still the closest you can get to the fastest possible car in real life. Meanwhile the Tomahawk X... where do i start? its a complete unrealistic mess. Its like someone decided to place a pixel, code 69420km/h as its top speed and call it a car. I mean no wonder they priced it at just 1M credits, they knew they went complete bonkers on the math and messed it up. The engine and weight is completely unrealistic - 2700bhp and at only 749 kg? Even f1 cars only get around 1000hp and weigh about 750kg, so for more than double the hp of an F1 car, the SRT nearly reaches Devil 16 levels of insanity. But then even more lubricious is its aerodynamics - those dynamic "flaps" or "winglets", i doubt they can out-perform the spoilers on an F1 car in generating down-force, there's no way that such small flaps could out-perform wings and spoilers especially at low speeds. Those flaps also necessitate a very complex mechanism which seems vastly energy inefficient to have on a car which just begs the question - why not simply use DRS on spoilers and wings? A more dynamic DRS system on spoilers would provide better results while being more efficient. That car is a completely unrealistic concept, and feels like a mod. If both these cars were created in real life, the x2011 should retain 85-90% of its performance on the Nordschleife. While i doubt the SRT will even keep 60% of its performance primarily because its aero would simply fail.
