@@arkeys74 I'll see if my time lasts when I'm back from NL. Enough days left to improve if I have to. I didn't find it particulary difficult to get to my time with only a few attempts, but tbh, I find this TT really boring. Nothing I can learn from it for future races in GT7.

@Suzie_Q-ld4nx you are definitely better than me in the initial runs in these fast beasts. I am definitely still more of a road car guy 😃 But yeah you are right, nothing really to gain from pushing this time trial. It is just a dumb and rather unrealistic fantasy car, and if we ever got it in a daily race I would avoid that as well 😆 I was driven by pure stubbornness on this TT 😂

Oh and I learned something from your vid that's helping a ton, let up before 130R then power through it, I'm having much more success getting through 130R, not that you don't helpful tips in all of your videos 😎 That tip sure is helping me today though.

Defo agree one of the hardest tt we had in a long time , once I could keep car on track for a clean lap it took me 8 to 10 clean laps to get a gold time . Then I pushed to make sure I stay in gold . Optimal Lap time said I could get into 38s but I struggled hold a optimal lap . In the end I've parked at my time early 39s . Not sure I can get in mind frame now to push harder

Another well done video and run. That might be a nightmare for most if the last one wasnt enough. For those who dont know - this is a alsmot 1:1 replica on the master license test on suuzuka but in longer version, same techniques have to be used and a again in a heavy understeer car. I did 1.43 on first 5 tries and on the 9-10th i did 1.40 now aiming to get a bit below but important is giving brakes. This is AN EASY 1.38 if you DONT mess up the fast corner in the end as this car cannot go flatout at all it spins mid way. You have to be fast but patience is important in some corners to wait before giving gas again. Last chichane has to be taken an exit in 3rd gear as its really killer for that car and slows it down severly. Just as a reference to 5:35 slow rotation after second turn in S corner is best to not give any gas mid turn only let car coast until you straighten for exit you will get perfect angle to exit. On 2nd sector, where you have to get out of the curve to get the second apex before the straight after you have shifted down to 3rd before the turn let it to coast to mid apex and dont give any gas after that, first after you are close to late apex. Try this and see a big improvement :), no understeer either.

Il be honest I really enjoyed this car. Was challenging and punished mistakes but I never felt it didn't make sense(with exception of 130 intially) Hope you tried it on VR...crazy!!! Glad you persevered and got gold...very nice time as well!!

I think I am just really in trouble with these very fast cars. It was the same issue when we had Kyoto in the GR1 Bugatti VGT for a 2 mill. time trial. I had to do that over a couple of days as well 😆 Still haven’t tried it in VR, but I will definitely do that when I go back and get my two other accounts a bit further away from the gold/silver limit. For context, currently there are less than 2% players on gold, which is almost as hard as the NSX on Nurburgring TT two Decembers ago. It's certainly a suffering and I only get a high 1:40 on AT with controller pad acceleration after nearly 700km. Not sure if I want to punish myself more just for a mid-1:40......

@@supercededman My personal minimum target is to get a silver and get within top 10% world ranking. I have provisionally done both but I know that it's not really that secure. Nevertheless, I am the same in that once I got into the 1:40s, I just want to stop (although ended up doing a little bit more)

Thanks man! You can definitely use TC on this, I just prefer to drive without it as I lose the feel for when I can push in TT. I sometimes use it when racing in faster cars where cold tyres can catch you out.

This car is driving like a piece of 💩 the same sh* handling as a Merc E63s which I drove for a few days. Heavy, no breaks, fully overpowered and a totally crappie handling. I needed also very long to get gold 🤬
