Great lap Arkeys! I'm struggling to get into the 44s, every time I'm on a potential 44 the car gets too loose out of a corner and I lose a tenth or 2 lol. 45.2 so far, I will get into the 44s! lol 😎

Didn't enjoy this one at all, after 450+ km of attempt, I only got a low 1:47. My main hurdle is that the car-tyre combination is far too inconsistent for me to grasp, which sees me either braking too early or too late for the high speed corners. My exit speed from the second sector was also problematic. Overall, I wasn't surprised that I would from time to time fall short of gold, but I was a small bit surprised that it happened because of the car-tyre combination this time (rather than a VGT on the Suzuka circuit)

It is a tricky one in AT as well I assume as the car is very sensitive to downshifts, the rear can kick out, so it is nice to be in control of when that happens. The tyres are not too bad for this car, but yes it is slidy 😉👍

@@arkeys74 For me, the car itself is not that bad even with a little bit of sliding, but when putting on CS tyres, the braking and turning combined on this tyre made it a lot less predictable around the corners (i.e. more than 1 variable working at the same time). As I said, I often braked too early for a corner, just for me to brake too late at the same corner in the next run.

@stormmeansnowork sometimes difference in exit speed from thee previous corner due to inconsistency messes with braking points as well. I had that happening a lot when doing the Laguna Seca TT from last week.

@arkeys74 I did like 10 laps got close to my first lap, I'll get bored of not improving then leave it till the next day but this week I just focused on the weekly challenge which I still need to do the longer ones.
