To add to that a couple weeks ago I was getting very frustrated in races and also took revenge. It was not a good look for me. I lost a very long time follower because of my actions. End of the day I have to remind myself that these idiot troll dirty drivers are going to do what they do and there is nothing you can do about it. Just have to laugh it off take it on the chin and not react. Trolls/bullies do this for a reaction esp if we are a youtuber/streamer. So now I do not feed them as its just not worth it.

Unfortunately we all need to remember that GT7 is a game that we may have to share with immature types that should be playin GTA not GT7. The report function is there just for this reason. It's human to loose patience and you know you regret retaliating. The big trick now is to not retaliate next time to avoid the regret, that part is the tricky bit. Still hoping PD will come up with a way better penalty and reporting system because if this game could be cleaned up from dirty driving, it would be sooooo much better. Won't hold my breath though.

This kind of video actually does more harm to the GT community than good. Showing the dirty drivers and complaining about them in videos only gives them more encouragement. You end up with not only the same ones continuing to be dirty, but you get more people driving dirty. Then it's just a feedback loop from there. Then there's the worst possible thing you can do, which is make a mistake and not own up to it by blaming the other drivers. Turn 1 when you got spun by someone other than Cagey was on you and no one else can be blamed for it. You were up the inside and didn't leave anywhere for the other driver to go on the exit and pitted yourself. You must always leave the space! I dont want to just be bashing on your videos though. I like your content and your driving skills. I just felt that I should give some feedback on this kind of thing because dirty driving in GT is a problem that needs solved, but the community needs to do their part as well.

imo when u bumped driver at last turn he ran wide and got a .5sec penalty but you still went for move at T1 slowing Him again. I also wouldn't have been happy with that, he over reacted by turning you but by readdress of bump by not passing him wouldve seen different outcome. Otherwise great vid. We all like to see crazy🤣

The only reason he bumped him was because he bumped the car in front and pinballed back into delboy. It wasn't really delboys fault. But was delboys fault was not leaving room on exit of turn one. When penalties are so harsh on corner exits. You have to leave space if the car still has a nose there. It is a difficult corner to that though because the way its camber on exit.

You could see that you were upset with yourself for retaliating. But what are we supposed to do? The pit manoeuvre is so common now that I’ve had to start racing with counter steer set to weak. I don’t want to. But I’m so fed up with getting spun around. Personally.. I think that it’s only going to get worse until PD take action. If you go onto Kimi Velocini’s page. This might sound a little optimistic, but I don't think the actual chat message caused the resolution of the report you sent. It's possible they checked the race itself & saw the brake checking/intentional PIT maneuver targetting you & it factored into their decision that stated it breached their Code of Conduct. Better than nothing I suppose 🤷🏽

The reports is only a warning. If a player gets a few warning then gets psn account blocked for a few days and can't play online

Algorithm took me here. For clarity, you rear ended the guy on the last turn, then on first turn you dive bombed and cut him off on corner exit. What did you expect him to do? Even in real life he may have held his line. There needs to be some give, there was no give in that scenario. Would've been much easier to overtake on the next hairpin.

That’s fair comment, although it was far from a dive bomb at Turn 1 as I had at least half my car up the inside and felt it was my corner. I would always back out if I found myself on the outside there as I know the car on the inside will struggle not to drift on the exit.

Looking at it again, think you gave the driver 0.5sec penalty as the driver overran the last corner exit after the love tap Driver also left you plenty of room on the apex in turn 1 and didn't squeeze you before t1, I think the driver expected a side by side run to the next turn. Or just inexperienced, dunno. Lesson learned and experience gained 👍

Very common with stick drivers. They often thrash the joystick like idiots. Cos it allows them to snap a lot. So they've gotten used to the snap. You see the jerky steering action, that's stick racers. They slam the joystick left and right. Can't stand racing against them.

That’s a bit unfair. I’m a stick driver but try my absolute best to be clean. It’s tricky sometimes in real close quarters racing but most of the time I avoid contact at any cost. I wish I had the space and money for a wheel and pedal rig but it’s just not practical for me at the moment.

@@Spudchucker92 Use the controller as your wheel. Use the motion control. Steer with the controller. It's a whole lot easier, cleaner, and faster No rig even, or ever needed. I have a rig, but I prefer to use motion control since the inputs are less tiring, and kinda faster for gas/brake/gear combinations, cos the brain signals don't have to travel as far to the feet, and the haptic sensors are easier to control than stamping on the gas. I only use the rig for F1 and ACC. Because they don't have motion control... (and good VR for that matter). If any and every other driving game cared to implement Motion Control, I wouldn't need a rig - EVER

But you don't take, or keep the right lines (cleanly) most times and it compromises the race. I've seen people say to keep your joystick in "Up" position so it keeps a cleaner line, but sooner or later (I'm guessing) they always revert back to "snapping" more often than not. Besides, keeping the stick on the Up position seems like more work, and would be better used as steering with the controller, instead of steering with your thumb.

@@Spudchucker92 Just as a reference if it helps any, I'm faster on motion control than the wheel. I do sincerely suggest, or at least hope you do start using it, cos man it's that good. As mentioned, if all other driving games had it, I wouldn't need a rig. Give it a shot, it's more natural than thumb steering. Therefore probably more effective. However irrespective, some stick drivers are still bloody quick.

But it is frustrating when you come across a car jolting left and right really hard, it makes it difficult to know if you can trust them enough to pass cleanly without getting shunted off, and heck that’s coming from me. Sometimes I even wonder if people are steering using the D pad…which I used up until GT4ish. 😆 I know it wasn’t personal too, just an observation from preference and previous experience. 😀

I'm a bit confused. At the 4:30 mark, you ram Smokey off course giving him a .5 penalty. In the video you admit fault, but in the race, you then proceed to fight for the position turning it into an illegal bump pass attempt. You even say you "have a run" when you don't. You just have a driver that you made slower by compromising his exit. You fight him all the way to turn 1, going two wide into the corner for a position you didn't earn, and then you proceed to run him wide not leaving space, at which point you cut across his nose and pit yourself. Then you throw up your hands and blame dirty drivers?
