Your guides are THE BEST! OK, I have an alternate idea. I tried about 10 laps coming out of the corners in 3rd where recommended. Then I tried coming out in 2nd with TC on 1 😲…letting the tires spin a bit until 101 mph and shifting to 3rd. Believe it or not, I knocked 2 seconds off doing that. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This TT shows clearly the gap between top players and the rest of the world. The speed you are able to keep in those chicanes is crazy. Right now I am in the 3:36s with optimal in the 34s... Need to work more, I'd love to get silver. Your video is very instructing on track limits too, most places you place your outside wheels on the inside curb, while I am shy to put my inside wheels on the curb, show me I have a lot or margin there. Also you brake much later than me, on the easy right before Indianapolis, and in T1 too.

I’m same as you and honestly, can’t even enjoy the way I have to drive this. It’s just insane. Imagine taking another bunch off of that for gold even. It’s just nuts. I’m in the Mazda.

​@hotmetalslugs i wanted to get gold with the mazda but I gave up. Watching replay of the fastest driver and listening to gears and shifting at the perfect speed in each gear are what helped me get into 3:27s.

I wish this guide came earlier. This is hard… I usually get gold on Thursday or Friday and no need to touch it again, but this TT I had to try real hard just to get into gold time. Hopefully 3:28.712 is enough

On the controller: It mainly affects your steering sensitivity. On the wheel: No difference.
