1:31:05 Kijk, dit gevecht bedoelde ik, tot ongeveer 1:31:45. Elkaar mooi de ruimte geven in de chicane, een switchback, in de snelle rechter de binnenkant pakken, en aan het eind van start/finish uitremmen aan de buitenkant. Ik was erg in m'n nopjes met die move 😊🤣 Trouwens ook een mooi voorbeeld voor Black Phoenix wat betreft clean racen, want als siyu87 het niet netjes had meegespeeld was dit niet gelukt.

One more thing that I forgot to comment on yesterday. At 2:39:45 you mention the Mégane's acceleration. But it's not that special. We just drive different lines. You do the "modern" trail braking while I drive more traditional slow in/fast out lines, because the Nordschleife has a lot of long straights where that "fast out" matters. Rewind to 2:39:30 and check the delta and our racing lines in the two consecutive left handers: - On the first left hander, I stay on the outside up to the grass strip between GP track and pit entry. You turn to the left much sooner. You gain about 0.2s there. But then you lose 0.3s on the short straight along the old pit lane, because you're still turning hard on the bumpy apex and have to be very careful there, delaying your throttle until the car is stable again. - On the second left hander, I stay on the outside almost until the pit exit line ends, and hit a very late apex. You turn in right after the pit *lane* ends, as we're supposed to do nowadays, hit the apex much earlier, but that means you have to wait longer until you can go full throttle again. You gain 0.1s on corner entry, but then lose *0.5s* on the following straight! Newer is not always better. Sometimes the old slow in/fast out method still works. 😋

(tactisch hè? )🤣 According to the car specifications, the Megane's acceleration time from 100 km/h to 150 km/h (very close to the two mentioned corners) is 3.88 seconds. The Supra does it in 3.94 seconds - only 0.05s difference. Cornering speed at 60 km/h is 1.28 G for the Mégane, 1.30 G for the Supra. At 120 km/h it's 1.34 G for the Mégane, 1.35 G for the Supra - so at both speeds the Supra should corner a bit faster. I wish we could blame the car mate... 😋
