I remember on GT Sport that using the assists had a trade off. You would have a far more stable car, but would lose a very small amount of performance when the assists were activated. And in manufacturers and nations races. The only assist allowed was traction control. I really don’t understand why they didn’t keep this trade off of performance against stability for GT7? Because it’s allowing drivers with short tempers and lacking in race craft, to drive beyond their ability 🤯

An adjustment to the SR system might take care of people like Kimi and Arc - if it were scored out of 100k like DR, it should be harder to build up and maintain

I've also seen intentionally dirty drivers in my races ALWAYS have 'Active Stability Management' on, which seems to help them when hitting other cars. Edited: they also always have the countersteering on strong too, sorry

Rear end punts get penalised, side contacts usually don't. Look at Arc's ramming at Forest Elbow - he hits the rear side panel of the other car, with his front wing, so doesn't get a penalty. Arc and KIMI both know this, so they are rarely penalised.

This is exactly why I quit GT7. Stupid assists and drivers like arc and Velocini. And overall my experience was that everyone send one wide to force a pass. I can only speak for myself and you may have a different experience for the majority (I hope). But I will still watch your videos even if I don't play GT7 anymore. Many Greetings from Germany!

Yes I have unfortunately experienced both of these two clowns....assists to aid in murder. The only reason they are in A+ is because there is the lack of collision penalty so they get away with "push to pass"

From what I've been observing, it seems less like a lack of penalty and more of them taking advantage of the situations that allow them to get away without getting one. That punt to that one guy into his door in this video is a perfect example as he gets no penalty, while earlier in the video one guy tried to punt Kimi by hitting him in the rear and he picked up a penalty. There needs to be a bigger area of penalty application because as it is now, all it takes is for someone to figure out where to apply that contact and they'll get away with that every single time.

For dirty drivers they should have a visual cue like water wings or a cherub statue peeing on their car. It would have to be so pathetic that it can never be misinterpreted as a badge of honor. :) YNWA

Del, I'm an Aussie, and can tell you that Bathurst is considered a rite of passage for Australian men. All stems from the days of Peter Brock and Dick Johnson who would laconically drive down Conrod with an elbow on the door frame. LOL. My point being ... that this track brings out the worst driving behaviour (Monza is another). But, particularly with Aussies. DO NOT RACE THERE IN THE OCEANA REGION. If you want a laugh, pop your head in, but otherwise, the driving on your video is respectable in comparison. Good video, mate. EDIT: Another Scot I follow - Wombleleader - shamed himself this week by showing a video where he uncharacteristically sought revenge on another. Was entertaining to see the red mist descend for an otherwise paragon of virtue. It'd be fun to see a video from you like that :-)

That is nothing, On the last turn down the mountain, a fellow clipped the wall and I gained on them. Since they hit the wall, it must have been my fault because they put me into the barrier right before the straight stretch. No penalty. They then proceed to hit some more cars on the straight, loses a bunch of positions then takes me out on the second to last turn. All I could do was laugh, lap 1.

Start of the clip it looks like a standard punt from behind by the Alpha driver. The rest of it is KIMI taking vengeance on him. Some people can't let it go (myself included if it's on purpose)

Another great video. I knew something was off with the physics when it came to Kimi. He is always just unmovable. This explains it. GT is also irritating. If you’re that fast of a driver, you have nothing to prove. Everyone knows your quick, so work on character traits that would actually make people like and respect you.

Sorry, but Kimi has all assists off but ABS, they're not light grey highlighted. Steering flashes red when you're not countersteering properly in case you have the assist off. He's a dirty driver and a d/€& but a skillful one.

The madness is worse further down the DR. I float between B and D rating and a huge number of drivers are like this, especially when you drop out of SR S. I drive fair but if other drivers try to kill my race I'm going to fight fire with fire. The alternative is to end up with lots of very low finishes and a tumbling DR. PD needs to get tough on dirty drivers and hand out more frequent and bigger penalties for putting other drivers into the wall or off track. I don't think they should be banned, but if they put another driver into the wall they should get 10 seconds. There needs to be a proper deterrent.

I never really understood why people don't fight fire with fire. I haven't played GT7 yet but every time I raced in Sport I always tried my best to drive fairly. I was usually hovering between D and C driver rating and always tried to keep my S for safety rating but if somebody was being a dick on the track and driving dirty like this, then it was gloves off ^^ Like that chance where you could have totally squeezed him into the wall; I would have taken that in a heartbeat. So yeah sometimes you gotta be a prick to stand up to those idiots imo. Not saying you're wrong though for not doing it, I admire the mental restraint ;)

If you press to pause the game as you serve the penalty your speed doesn't drop as much i.e you only slow down to 65mph instead of 50mph
