I plan to try and see if a mid drive motor would be good for this I want more power and speed top speed I'd like is 55 or 60 max.

@kireacts6026 it's made for a hub motor, you would have to seriously modify the frame to fit a mid drive in there. Also there are just as powerful hub motors that will give you the power you need, like the QS hub motors, there would be no need to spend extra money reframing the whole bike when you could just get a whole new bike for less with more power. Just my opinion, but good luck bro 👍

Dose it have a drop out or did you have to cut slots to put the new hub on

@stneotschrisb24 All bikes have a dropout. The dropout is the space between the frame that holds the tire and/or hub motor. The dropout on the GT73 is 159mm, the dropout on the new motor is 155-160mm so it basically fit in there perfectly, just had to add 1 small spacer, no need to cut anything.

@g216uy3 definitely the Freego. I wanted the Freego first, I was just impatient and didn't want to wait to save up the few hundred dollars.
