Summer 1989, Fountain ave. NYC. Street drag racing filled with the era's muscle cars. In comes this guy with a white MKlll Supra with "HKS" on the sides. Immediately starts gapping Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes and hangs with Grand Nationals! That was the first time I heard of HKS and it wasn't till the Internet came about that I was able to learn more. That mystery HKS "killer" Supra has always been on my mind. Thanks for the tour and hope to visit one day.

When I was a wee lad, around 9th grade 85', we had a exchange student from Japan, Hiro, very cool dude. His brother had a Supra MK1 with a Trust sticker and body kit, all white, I forget the rim type (spoke of some sort) had a HKS sticker and exhaust on it. That was my intro to HKS.

I thought it’d be like a 2-step and you have to have your foot on the gas to engage and then let off and it stop... that thing was just goin bonkers until he flipped that switch

Anti lag on non drag cars continues the entire time you're off throttle to keep the turbo spooled up the entire time you're driving i.e. drift and rally cars so you can get back in it and just go
