GTA 2: Industrial District - Russian Mafia Job 7 - Super Grass Rescue! (Walkthrough)

Gameplay/walkthrough of the 7th and final Russian Mafia job/mission of the Industrial District in the original GTA 2 game for PC!
Super Grass Rescue! is the seventh and last mission in the Industrial District in Grand Theft Auto 2 given to protagonist Claude Speed by Russian Mafia leader Jerkov. The mission is available from the red Russian Mafia phones in the Industrial District.
- Mission Information:
Save Jerkov's gangsters from the Zaibatsu and deliver them to Uncle Vanka to interpret the information. After that you need to steal a Police Car with a Uniform. Find and catch the Informer (do not kill him) and deliver him to Jerkov`s son.
First, you need to save the gangsters. The gangsters are being held in one of the Cores and it is locked. You must destroy 4 generators to open it, each guarded by 2 guards. After their destruction, go to the core where the gangsters is. There is 4 of them, all unarmed. But the gates is now locked, and you must kill 3 assassins to open them. After that, go to the Russian territory and find Uncle Vanka. He will interpret the information. Some guy has some dirty information on Jerkov's wife and wants to tell it to the cops. The informer will be somewhere in the city. You will need a Police Car and uniform. Find it and go after the informer. When you use the siren, he will leave his car and escape. Go after him but do not kill him, just beat him up! Now deliver him to the docks and enjoy the show.
Dialog:
Jerkov: "Comrade! It's Jerkov! Some of my special gangsters have information about an Informant but are trapped in the Zaibatsu Power Core. Free them - and their knowledge!"
"Very professional, Comrade. Bring my men to meet Uncle Vanka in the Russian zone. He is the only one I know who can interpret the gangster information."
Uncle Vanka: "Tell me - who is the Informant?
He says... "Some guy has some dirty... information about Jerkov's wife - and he's going to reveal all... to the Cops"."
Jerkov: "My son wants to deal with this Informant. Steal a Cop Car and I will relay to you further instructions."
"Why, that Cop Uniform fits like a glove, Comrade! Find the Informant and pull up in front of his car. Don't forget to use the siren - he won't get out if it's not on!"
"My son is waiting with a few of my men at the Lubyanka Docks. Take the Informant to him."
Jerkov's Son: "Good to see you, Comrade. Now get out of the Cop Car and let me see the Informant's face! So this is the Informant... Well done, Comrade. Now stand back - we have work to do. Soften him up, men!"
"Enough, men! Now it's my turn... Stand back!
Nobody spreads filth about my mother and lives... DIE!"
Jerkov: "A commendable performance, Comrade. I am well pleased with your work this day! Here is my appreciation - $80,000!"

The reward for completing this mission is $80,000.

- Russian Mafia:
The Russian Mafia, otherwise known as the Kovski Bratva, is a gang featured in Grand Theft Auto 2.
The Russian Mafia is one of the several gangs located in Anywhere City. It is one of the three gangs fighting for control of the Industrial District of the city, becoming enemies with the Zaibatsu Corporation and the Hare Krishna. The Russians are led by a man named Jerkov, an ex-soldier for the Red Army.
Members of the Russian Mafia are well armed, using submachine guns and driving the heavily armoured Bulwark vehicle. Despite that, they are the weakest gang in the Industrial District (except the Mad Island Gang), due to them not using any explosive weapons, as opposed to the Krishnas and the Zaibatsus.
To gain Russian Mafia respect, Claude needs to kill Zaibatsu gang members. Working for Sunbeam and the Hare Krishna gang will lower the player's faction with the Russians.

- Industrial District:
The Industrial District is the industrial area of Anywhere City. It is also the third and the last level player could be in Grand Theft Auto 2. The district is largely comprised of factories, although the district has flats. The district has four gangs: the The Zaibatsu Corporation, the Hare Krishna, the Russian Mafia and an unnamed gang based on Mad Island, who always attack the player. Like other districts, there are three gangs that Claude Speed can work for: Uno Carb (of The Zaibatsu Corporation), Sunbeam (of the Hare Krishna) and Jerkov (of the Russian Mafia).
The highest wanted level you can get yourself into in Industrial District is 6 stars, which means police roadblocks and SWAT teams trying to bust you, the FBI trying to stop you and finally the army being introduced. Throughout the city you can find collectable GTA Tokens and Kill Frenzies, which the player can complete by running over people or destroying cars.
There are 22 missions in the Industrial District, 7 for each of the three gangs and one Final Job. The goal is to earn 5,000,000 dollars through missions and playing the game. Once this goal is reached the player will have completed all districts and finished that part of the game.
