It's absolutely insane still to this day just how dangerous Portland becomes the more you progress in the missions. Collectibles like hidden packages and rampages in districts like Saint Mark's becomes so difficult to almost impossible to achieve and get. That's why it's always highly recommended that you get those early in the game. I always loved too that the Leones become the most powerful that they've ever been after the death of Salvatore indicating Toni Cipriani's dominance assumingly as the new boss.

Sayonara salvatore showscases that doing a "starter save" is the cannon way of getting 100% in GTA 3 And if you don't know, a starter save is when you do all possible side missions at the very beggining of the game.

Interresting enough, in one of the Side missions in the third island where you have to take the car to repair in a garage at Saints mark...the mafia won't shoot at your claude...guess even them know how impossible that would be.

Fun concept, but I think that would be GTA SA 2, where you can travel between SA, VC and LC playing as CJ's son and that game could explain what happened to the protagonists or characters of each 3d era game after their story ended.
