Too bad people complained about it being the "worst" thing in GTA IV so R* won't plan to bring this sort of physic back! (Most of the complaint were of the cars physics making it harder to drive. But the driving was alright when you don't expect to drive cars on a ice skating ring like in GTA V! Plus it was too easy to turn over cars with your own car in GTA IV so you could play with the physics however you want!)

Well when you got powerful consoles at launch and the CPU have stronger focus than GPU, this is what you get. Even thought this game clearly priotized physics over optimization/frame rates. You can get like 10-20fps when you have like 5-6 wanted levels chases at high speed on PS3 and 360
