In GTA IV (A game set in 2008) there are a few easter eggs to past GTA games, such as graffiti referencing previous protagonists since they were dead by this point. In the 'CJ's Grave and House' section, the house is fake. It's not actually in the game, as its just a mod. That's probably why the fake CJ grave said 2010 instead of 2008.

Confirmed 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 on my XBox 360 (I noticed 4 and 6 years ago when I did those missions), but 5 and 7 must have been added later, probably to the PC version this is, maybe even XBox One. For the Freeway numbers, I don't even have that Los Santos tag or those discoloured squares, LOL! Too bad, I REALLY want that last one, I first started checking just to get the shovel! The only 3D games I've played in the series, HAD to watch this, LOL!

So, the weird thing to me is that officially, for some arbitrary and unknown reason, the HD universe is different from the 3D universe, but there really aren't any super big contradictions from what I know and it honestly just seems like the creators point toward a connected story way more than a separated one. To me, it almost seems like a Star Wars canon and EU thing, where they made them separate, but for what reason? They could've just continued the timeline as it was. But it's fine, I didn't like TCW so I'm glad it's separate.

Actually no, the "3D universe" isn't a separate universe. People are so stupid they forgot that these games released in the 2000s just because the graphics are different doesn't mean it's different universes. And also, it's not official at all, people just invented that, the stories are all connected.
