1:19 2K means 2000 pixels horizontally, that's closer to 1920x1080 than to 2560x1440 (what you're calling 2K) 1:33 more than 60% of Steam users still have a FHD (1920x1080) monitor 1:43 MSAA will destroy your fps, especially at 1440p anything above 2x isn't worth it 1:51 Vsync doesn't increase your frame rate, it syncs the frames to the monitors refresh cycle. Only use it if you get screen tearing and your fps is above the monitors refresh rate (e.g. 80fps, 60Hz) 3:29 set Shadows to High, looks much better and you'll lose 10% fps maximum 3:32 use High for better fps, still looks good 3:37 turn that off, it improves nothing, takes away fps and even turns off reflections on AMD GPUs 4:09 use "Higher" for best fps, PCSS only if you have performance headroom 4:13 High PostFX still has motion blur, if you want to turn it off completely use Normal PostFX 4:28 you can turn both of them off and to the untrained eye it will look the same 4:40 those will unnecessarily lower your fps and not make the game look much better, only thing I would use is High Detail Streaming While Flying and Extended Distance Scaling if that's worth the drop in fps for you

BRo tysm, i was running like 100 fps now im running 160 fps with the settings, it improved it alot, I have a Geforce RTX 3060ti with a Ryzen 7 5800x

i just put together a new gaming pc. I have the i9 12,900k cpu, the gtx 4070, 32gb of ddr5-6k ram. I put the game on maxed settings. My monitor is a LG 1ms 2k @ 144hz The FPS on the GTAV Online is around 100 fps

Not stating that your settings don’t work for most people. But I have a 3050 and it made everything worse using these. Default seems to be working fine. I guess it really depends on parts your pc has.

try extended distance scaling in the advanced options For me, maxing out view distance in the basic options used to work well but recently they made it have terrible pop-in and shimmering, along with textures not loading properly. I guess you are experiencing the same

you need atleast 16 gbs of ram and if you have an amd 6000 series gpu i highly recommend undervolting it

If you get 40 fps in Online mode that's 100% normal, the Multiplayer has terrible performance. Just use Very High, Vsync off, Grass Quality and PostFX on High, MSAA x2, FXAA On

@@maaax1173 the game was reversing my settings so i force restarted the game and my pc and the problem was fixed. Same settings gave me around 70-90 fps and the settings in that video gave 90-140

i use 1080p MSAA x4 FXAA on and LumaSharpen with reshade and the game looks great. also MSAA doesn't lower fps by too much
