Fun fact: when I encountered Patrick in my playthrough I didn't fully realise what I could or should do at the time; and being a notorious good boy I thought "damn, some crooks robbing a poor guy, gotta get them" similar to those "someone stole my purse, help" encounters. So, what did I do? I ran them over. Only to notice a split second before I mowed themdown that there *might* have been more to the encounter ^^ - I think I also ran over Ashley. Been a while since I played story mode :-) Damn good game though. Thanks for the video.

In fact when that fire fight brakes out with him right in front of everyone it's even harder to not kill him, and even if you don't one of the goons usually gets him anyways. The rest of those people were news to me though, especially Aunt Denise. Apparently Franklin is more of a stone cold gangster than he realizes.

I remember my first playthrough when I ran into that random event, and Packie looked so different in this game that I didn't even recognize him, which with that being said, I just took him for a random amateur thief and killed him on the spot and made myself look like the hero who foiled the drug store smash and grab.
