I found a difference between the kangpae and the triads(I’m pretty sure) the kangpae’s voice lines have some English in them, so you can sort of understand what they’re saying, but the triads tend to speak entirely Chinese. The kangpae also seem to have a bit more money judging by how they dress, while the triads look a bit more like a street gang. I found these differences because I was determined to be able to tell them apart on sight

I may be late as of 3 years past, but those guys can be dealt with. This is for anyone else who still has no clue. To do this, you'll need to play as Trevor. That hillbilly gang you're talking about are called The Altruists. They are hostile towards Franklin and Michael, but not Trevor. This is because they believe anyone below their 40s is just a generation of weaklings who are corrupt or pathetic. For Trevor to do this, there are side missions where you'll need to pick people up and transport them to their desired location. But there is also the other option where you could take those people to the Altruist Camp as indicated on your map. You head over there instead and drop off more people to be sacrificed and you get money. Eventually, the dropping off to the camp will end with the cult taking Trevor in and you kill them after. After that situation, no matter who you play as now, that place will be deserted and empty. The only thing left in it will just be the buildings along with weapons and shields laying around.
