They wiped your old characters and all their stuff. So what I am pointing out is that if they do it the exact same. People who can't get a next gen console by March to may or so would have their character and stuff wiped because of a chip shortage.

I think I’d be very happy it was on the new engine with 4k 60fps, volumetric lighting, clouds, etc. New interiors are a must, there are so many buildings you can’t go into so they need more for sure like why can’t we go into burger shot but you could in GTA 4? New areas to explore even just smaller scale, and then immersion upgrades such as sounds, upgraded phones, menu tabs, & details. This might not all happen but would be 100% worth the upgrade and really drive the game forward for the next few years until GTA 6.

Yes. Rockstar does this with everyone of their games. In their defense. They usually make significant upgrades that are apparent in many ways. And also more importantly. Last time they had like a 6 month period where you could buy the game and they would transfer your character and stuff over. This time they are refusing to answer any questions about the process. Last time if you did not buy it during this period, you were made tk start online over.

San Fierro and Las Venturas inbound for GTA V E&E. Banners in the auto body shop displaying both of these locations along with Vice City are noteworthy to say the least. Don’t forget about that hint down at the airport that’s been there since day one: the three doors separately numbered as 2013, 2014 and 2021. GTA V was released in 2013. GTA V Enhanced for PS4/XB1 released in 2014. And here we are in 2021 with GTA V and GTA Online Enhanced and Expanded. The whole state of San Andreas is coming to the HD universe to hold us over until GTA VI releases which is most likely set in Vice City per leaks, and we will then be able to experience VC in GTA Online just by purchasing and installing GTA VI and linking via the Rockstar Social Club. It’s a win-win for everyone.

Honestly I don’t think it’s gonna be that much different sure there will be a few small things but without a proper expansion of the map you can’t bring this game back even with top speed upgrades that will probably only increase the top speed by 3-4 like the overflod imorgan turbo you literally need an app on your irl phone that never works to Install the biggest thing I think they are doing is next gen loading times/ graphics an that will be it bigger lobbies would probably kill any chance of grinding as well
