GTA 5: Herbie 'The Love Bug' Volkswagen Beetle - BF Weevil REPLICA BUILD!

Been a long-time fan of the Herbie movies since I was a kid and was super eager to recreate it using the BF Weevil in GTA 5 once I unlocked it! This video showcases all of the parts you should opt for in Los Santos Customs to create the most accurate replica of the original Herbie as it appeared in the 1968 "The Love Bug" movie.

The "Forgotten Racer" livery is a direct reference to Herbie! I really wish it wasn't in a stupid rusty paint, I hate that so much!!

@@thytor756 Yes, but it also references Herbie Fully Loaded when Herbie is in a junk yard. The Stronzo Racing livery references his NASCAR livery at the end of that movie, and the BF Cup Car livery reflects his regular racing livery.

Nice Job, i was going more in the version from the movie with Lindsey. And i choose cream as color. Love the lashes above the lights. And i keep the stock wheels. The original has its stock rims too, but without the chrome hudcap on it. And for GTA its important to choose at least the first suspension option. Most cars drive better, and those 2 pixels lower body doesn't ruin the look.

While I do wish that the forgotten racer livery wasn't rusted..I really REALLY hope rockstar makes it right with a clean virsion. Also, you forgot there was a primary side panel option.

They made the BF Cup Car livery for stock Herbie, and the Stronzo Racing livery for his NASCAR racing.

I like all the design you did for Herbie and I agree that the forgotten racer would’ve been the perfect selection if not for all the rust covering it. I did add a racing spoiler on Herbie For the reference of the Herbie fully loaded movie. But still the car looks fantastic either way.

Talked about it right at the beginning of the video. If you do the Cayo Perico heist scope mission as a leader you'll be eligible to get them from English Dave. Once you're back in freeroam and you register as a CEO you'll get the calls for them.

Wait what about the stronzo racing yes the blue is replaced with green but in my opinion it is much closer to Herbie but yours is better for love bug herbie the stronzo works very well for fully loaded Herbie

Ehh, I don't think I'd ever choose the Stronzo livery for any Herbie-inspired build, even though the BF Cup Car livery isn't the best match either, I still think it is closer than the Stronzo one.

+ If you want more details then you can make the OFP 857 license plate and make the number 53 with your crew logo. Then you can make a modded color to look like Herbie’s pearl white color so here’s the code: #E2D9C3 PS: I hang out with Herbie every time because it’s my favorite car, but I don’t like MK2 when they shoot me for nothing !

The shade's not as close, looks a little bit silvery in my opinion. The ice white is the brightest shade of white which is why I chose it.

Yeah that's true, but I was recreating the original non-rusty one and it would've been so easy for Rockstar to give us the same livery without the rust. Having that livery without the rust would be worlds better for any Herbie recreation.
