Welcome back to the series where I customize and review OG, and older DLC Vehicles from late 2015 and older that I was never able to make videos on. The reason I make these videos on these older cars is to provide my opinion on how they currently stack up to newer ones in-game. And ultimately, help you better decide on whether or not you should buy them when/if they go on sale.

My red 9F Cabrio was the car that got me through my earlier days of GTAO. I really hope they make a version of this car that has a lot more customization. Almost makes me rub my eyes when I see the customization we've got now compared to the past.

Very nice review and you are definitely the best car reviewer/customizer for GTAO comparing both versions of the car and showing the differences between them! I hope you do this for future reviews as well. I'm debating whether or not to get the better version or just get both but I love the real life car, the Audi R8 that it's based off of!

The stock exhaust of the hard top version actually has an unique popping sound and it's been there ever since 2013. And the engine sounds between the 2 versions are different as well where the cabrio sounds more like adder and the hard top one sounds more like fusilade.

The hard top one has the V10 sound, and the cabrio has the V8 sound. Both hard top and cabrio were available with V8 or V10 in the real life R8. I like that they gave us that choice in GTA!

when I first drove this into the shop way back in the day, I was so disappointed on how lacking the options were. That car is one of my favorites irl after seeing it in the Transformer movie and Ironman movie. I REALLY hope they update this car and the Carbonizzare

In a game with limited garage space, the 9F is the only car I can easily justify keeping both the coupe and cabrio versions. The subtle differences in bodywork make them look great next to each other in a garage, and their excellent handling makes them super fun to drive. I used the same paint and wheels as yours for my coupe, then lava red with dark copper wheels to make my cabrio look even more aggressive.

The hard top one has the V10 sound, and the cabrio has the V8 sound. Both hard top and cabrio were available with V8 or V10 in the real life R8. I like that they gave us that choice in GTA!

maybe but remember a lot of OG cars lack customization lol so those videos are going to be super short. Hence with this video he had to do 2 in one bc had he done one or the other 9f there just isnt enough customization with the older cars unfortunately. nevertheless Id still watch it lol

I was literally thinking of buying it today for nostalgic reasons. And i agree a updated version of the 9F and also the RH8 would be awesome. And i can’t believe they didn’t added one of the two with the new update, seeing as R8s and GTRs are good tuner supercars. At least the GTR more as the R8 Imagine getting a 2020 R8+ and then putting on two big turbochargers that you can see from the window, or a wide body Nissan R35 with a big ass wang. I personally like the normal version of the 9F looks better because you see the engine. Edit: Grammer

I really hope for a tailgater S like 9F renewel, I dislike the current 9Fs cause imo they spin out too easily and are a bit bland. With how close they come to almost replicating the real ones with the new cars, ı can't wait for another decked out, high detail Obey car.

The one thing that bothers me about the Cabrio is if you look while you’re driving you can see the wheel clip through the floorboard a little bit. I don’t think the normal hardtop does that which is the weird thing

I really wanted the cabrio version but the hardtop has a different more realistic audi sound, a deeper growl which i prefer. How the the car sounds is very important for me, thats why i love the Lampadati Casco and some other classics. So my search for a modern cabrio with nice sound continues, but i won´t buy every car to find out lol If you have some knowledge of a nice cabrio with a engine sound to die for in GTA, let me know asap!
