Well, compared to the fastest drivers that the GTA community has, I am very slow. Indeed, most of them abuse all kinds of mechanics such as brake boosting or short shifting, but even doing that requires a lot of practice. Also, I think using a controller helps, sometimes with the keyboard I don't even manage to position my car for certain turns as I would like. Coming back to your question, I've always been passionate about any game related to car racing, even simulators like iRacing or Assetto Corsa. If you play on PC and you like racing, I would recommend you to join Project Homecoming on FiveM.

Flick the left stick instead of using it as button when taking corners and letting the car straighten out before accelerating again when exiting corners. Watch broughy if you wanna learn how to race.

The time is much better with the dominator FX than last time. So the difference it's not that much. The Police Variant is 1 mph faster and the acceleration is better. But other than that is not bad. In the muscle car category the dominator FX civillian is gonna be pretty competitive without active hsw cars.

Glad to see there are people actually watching these videos and that you noticed the improved lap time for FX. I was also a little surprised, that's why I wanted to make this video. Maybe even with the Cruiser I could have gotten a better lap time, I think I lost some time @0:36. It's clear that the more I test these cars lap times also improve, but I'll stop here, I think that is enough and anyway this is not my job. :D

I first thought that, unless you like a specific livery or some custom parts for the normal FX, or you need it for some normal races, you can just buy the police package and call it a day. It even has some cop sirens too ya know, cool right? Then I remembered that the cop car is much more expensive and the resale value was 0.

Yes, people will most likely buy the FX because they can use it for racing considering that in GTA 5 Online emergency vehicles still can't be used for that even if I remember in GTA 4 it was possible.

@@crsN It's silly that even though cop cars doesn't have any missiles or ability to fly, it's basically banned from most of the races. I sometimes look back to the old days of IV, when things were much simpler and had less restrictions...

The only plus that the Gauntlet Interceptor has is slightly better acceleration. Otherwise, from the first corner the FX pulls away, and besides, it's a 1000 times more pleasant car to drive.
