A lot of people have already said that the satellite dish is part of an infection mod going around. What they didn't mention is that you have to be careful with it or it will permanently destroy your cars. You can get rid of it by going to your storage settings, pressing 'Y' and select 'clear system cache.'

That satellite antenna in Smith's garage was not a glitch. It is something called an "infection-mod". You have been infected by joining an infected person's lobby. The only way to get rid of this infection is to clear your game cache, otherwhise this will stay forever and you will infect anyone joining your lobby.
