It’s because you are carrying only bags of gold in this mission but story mode you are carrying racks of gold the racks hold way more gold and all that gold has to be put in multiple cars so it’s not rockstar logic it’s realistic as it gets

It just blows my mind that Rockstar is just not what they used to be. Like how well they did it in Story Mode. You had two ways of doing the The Big Score "Subtle" or "Obvious" and it was so creative and it really made you work for it. Here it just seems like "You go in there, get the money, and get out" I know thats how heists are supposed to be since its old school, but come on. I mean when we were doing The Big Score in Story Mode we had two ways of escaping. In Subtle you can drive your car into the Semi Trucks to stay hidden from the cops or if you did Obvious you get the Gold on the Train using the Helicopter. This is such a Rockstar Logic.

I don’t mind that we get union depository heist in this since it’s gonna be fun short and pay a bit. But you’d think one of the biggest heists would be it’s own big update with a lot of setups and hard heist for a ton of money. We went through more effort to rob the fleeca in OG heist

The robbery missions are almost impossible to do solo. They are always way more bad guys for one person to handle. Like I said before, Rockstar doesn’t want us making money…that doesn’t sell shark cards.

Wait. In story mode, Michael Trevor and fraklin, supposedly made history because they were the first ones to rob the union depository. But online is set before the story mode. So they actually never robbed the big one first

Online isn’t entirely set before the story mode, the original heist update does and the doomsday heist might. The casino heist seems to maybe take place before or during story line because Lester says it’s the “biggest feat of organized criminality” the city has ever seen, when the big one is clearly more impressive. But there are several inconsistencies that suggest it also takes place after story mode. For example Ricky lukans can be hired as a crew member, so this is after he has turned to criminality which presumably takes place after story mode. Also with all the changes the map has undergone, which isn’t visible in story mode, we can reasonably online eventually moves past story mode.
