The "ring" on the front bumper is actually an intercooler spray bar, part of an intercooler nitrous spray kit used for enhancing the intercooler's thermal transfer ability and improving it's efficiency. Same thing was visible on Brian's R34 in 2Fast 2Furious ;) Great video as always! :D
