I own both of theses, and I found the deluxo great for heist prep/travel, I only recently got the scramjet and it's just a fun cat primarily.

You could’ve also tried putting the deluxo in hover mode at the beginning of races to get better acceleration then dropping to land mode

To me, both are equal. The Deluxo's downside is that weapons are not stock and need an Avenger to be equipped. The Scramjet's downside is it needs an MOC to be customized (even though the mods for it are LSC friendly) and it can't hover. Both are also in a similar price range and can be stored anywhere. You're honestly picking either the most iconic 80's designed car ever or the most iconic 50's/60's anime car ever.
