I live in SoCal and sometimes the LA sheriffs will leave there cruiser's in neighborhoods to make it look like they have a presence there. problem is the Crown Vic they use in my town has an old-style light bar so it's pretty easy to tell its not in use.

Spiked Reviews There are so many dangerous roads and not enough cops so they have a dummy cop to scare people. To keep it from not working, they move it somewhere else every other week. They usually put it on unpopular roads or where people least expect it.
