2016-17 Charger R/T has 370 hp, 2017 Ford Focus RS has 350 hp. The Focus weighs somewhat less then the Charger and probably handles better but not as fast in a straight line. Very evenly matched cars now get over it and enjoy the episode.

BlakeBigfoot I️ don’t know if you know this, a focus RS has around 350hp along with a charger r/t scat pack and srt8 having 485hp and the regular r/t having about 380hp or so. It is not possible for a charger to lose in a straight line unless the driver of the charger is truly horrible. But they would probably still win.

Lol, the v6 charger was not made as a family sedan, it was made as a high end v6 racecar. Plan and simple. Dodge will say that as well. The simple fact of the matter is, naturally aspirated cars are notoriously slower than most motors with bolt ons

Unless he’s got a hellcat it would be a decently close race (in a straight line) The focus is AWD and has around 350awhp The Charger has like 460hp but weighs much more than an RS The RS would win on the launch and pull for a bit till I’m guessing around 80mph then the charger would start pulling. All in all, I think the RS just might take the win. On a track, the RS would win no doubt.

The SRT Chargers have 485 but the one Polecat used is an R/T model which makes 370 but nevertheless you're right, against the R/T, the RS is the faster car IRL. If it was an SRT, it would be different story on the drag strip.
