Yeahhh he is just little weak and fat that is why he can't fight anymore. Not just in infinity war its pretty different, he survived thanos torture which is power stone, used his strength in spaceship, physically fit body, able to fight thanos army, and overpower the complete 6 infinity stones and stabbed thanos. If thor stabbed tganos in head, tgere would be no endgame. The director just want to make the movie more intense tgats why they made thor fat.

Well here Thor can just spam flight and speed+strenght, while in MCU he always seems to be stuck on the ground fighting H2H to not look an awkward fight.
