@@Khadafi_1986 nope, i play on console and the reload animations are the same, they just insert "air" into the gun and bam, reloaded. the only thing i like in GTA 4 about the guns is the sound they make, but ye Guns are better potrayed in GTA V despite they lacking some actual Recoil (like GTA games have recoil on weapons lol) and i really don't see why people would say the Reload of GTA IV is realistic except for some Blinding Nostalgia or because they just hate GTA V for being overrated.

Gta iv: pulls back charging handle and the rifle is automatically loaded. Doesn't even bother taking out the magazine. Gta v: inserts one shotgun shell, instantly has 8 shells loaded.

the sounds in IV were so badass and honestly I loved the reticle design with the little circle that would expand as you shoot was awesome.and Everything about the gun gameplay in GTA IV felt more gritty and realistic. That's what made the Three Leaf Clover mission so memorable for me. It felt like an actual heist where-as in GTA V it feels forced... and "fake" like for example, even without your shooting "skill" being all the way up, you can still land a head shot from a huge distance really easily, you have pinpoint accuracy way too much in V, the only thing that skill really affects is your reloading speed which is just so backwards and seems rushed. The AI is also somehow a bit more gimmicky to me. In GTA V, everything feels more generic. The Helicopter sounds and the gunfire coming from the SWAT units sitting on the side of it is way more intimidating in GTA IV, especially the way little bits of pavement would be flying off the street in IV, in V you barely see that and it's a quick effect, it's more of a flash of light on the ground (supposed to be a spark I guess but it looks TERRIBLE IMO.) You barely can even notice it, good thing mods exist on PC though so the particle effects can be altered back to the good old days of IV (basically) lol. Changed the gun sounds too and now everything is more immersive, my V's gun-play almost feels like the gun play of Max Payne 3.

Story: IV obviously Car damage: IV obviously Fighting: IV is more clunky and everyone complains about the jets and crap in V forgetting that IV had a tank, explosive sniper, the combat sniper which is near identical to the marksman rifle in 5, and the annihilator helicopter in IV was op even without the explosive rounds and there was no homing launcher making helicopters even more op. The only thing that makes 4 win is no ewo, that’s it. Weapon selection: they’re near identical as you can see with the video, but since you needed to pay for the dlc I suppose 5 does win here Online (no counting the dlc’s): bruh if were not counting the DLC’s then how does V not win since the only reason why people hate V is because of “OP vehicles” and “everything’s too expensive” don’t get me wrong I had a lot of great times on IV but if you take off the nostalgia goggles there’s almost nothing to do in IV.

Герман Глок The GTA V ak doesn't fire 7.62x39. It looks a lot like a modern AK type rifle, firing what seems to be 5.56x45. Also, you didn't fire an AK47, you fired an ak varient, the only way you fired an AK47 is if you went back in time and stole one of the original 1947 ones.

The pistols sound better on GTA IV but all the other guns sound good on both versions. Personally I prefer the GTA IV sounds better in general because they have more “impact” to them. The pistols are the only ones that I genuinely think should’ve sounded better in GTA V though.

GTA 4 guns in my opinion where 1000% more satisfying then GTA 5 guns in all aspects except customization. I loved how when getting in shoot out in doors the room would fill with smoke and the sound of the gunfire indoors was awesome you could hear the loud( boing )sound after every shot. GTA 4 damage model and animations used to make me feel like I really was taking someone's life lol not that I'm an expert on killing people but I fell like one could agree the way pedestrians reacted to being shot felt much more visceral they would tumble and bleed then would limp when walking and would also clutch there wounds. I loved how it felt to shoot even objects like cars. The way the bullets would spark and tear the metal just felt right.

There's a little to no after shot echo in GTA IV. That's what makes the gun sounds good and not feel rigid.

GTA 4 has better gun sounds and gunplay but killing people in GTA 5 is just so much more satisfying, especially because you have silencer, so you can make a silent kill as well, makes you feel like you're really terminating people with missions etc.

Opinion sobre los sonidos de las armas. Grand Theft Auto IV: La verdad los sonidos de las armas suenan casi idéntico como son en la vida real y cuando lo jugué, no me esperaba eso de los sonidos y hasta le tuve que bajar algo el sonido porque si sonaban fuertes jaja. Ventajas: Sonidos aceptables y armas ( armas que últimamente se han registrado que son utilizados en balaceras reales como la pistola, Ak47, Carabina etc) Desventajas: Animación de recargar las armas (a veces son de mal gusto) Grand Theft Auto V: La verdad me esperaba más pero el sonido no me agrada, se ve como si fuera sacadas de sonidos de películas y la verdad me sacó de onda porque se supone que es un simulador de crimen, no un juego arcade y con respecto a las armas, no me agradan el sonido de las armas tanto cuando están en uso como al momento de recargar, me llevé una decepción fatal. Ventajas: Animación de Recargas pero a la vez no Desventajas: Sonidos sacados de películas o algo así, recargas sumamente exagadas y armas que no tienen sentido.
