RDR2 is LIGHTYEARS ahead of GTA V. It’s not even close. GTA V is basically good gameplay mechanics, good graphics, fun open world environment, great online mode. That’s about it. The story is absolutely garbage. I honestly didn’t care one bit about any of the characters. It’s 90% of psychopaths just screaming vulgarities at each other. The dialogue gets annoying REAL quick. The plot is dumb. I have zero interest in their goals, Michael trying to get his family back, could care less, Trevor I get is the comic relief sorta…he gets annoying and over the top real quick. CJ is hollow and the whole time I’m like…I don’t care for him either. All the side characters are basically forgettable. The missions are fun to play, but does not give you the emotional weight that RDR2 does, where you actually WANT to complete the mission to either get revenge, or rescue a child from the camp, or some type of motivating factor that GTA V just neglects all together. RDR2 > all other videogames.
