What's unfortunate is that there's clearly a great looking remaster underneath all the bugs, glitches, and performance problems, but it's marred by all those things, so it doesn't matter. Unreal Engine definitely gave it the potential to look good, with the nice reflections, realistic rain and puddles, and high resolution textures, but it doesn't matter because they're all also infected with bugs. It's Cyberpunk 2077 all over again.

Cyberpunk is precisely the reason why they did it. One scammer can give other scammers ideas. They know if they make a piece of shit look bad enough people will buy it and be "oooh yeah it looks good yeah this is good" because gamers today are all kids that think its all about graphics and having one button do every control. Driver 3 launched buggy like this when it came out and the entire game tanked and sales went down like the Titanic. It caused the 2nd bankruptcy of Atari with that fiasco. Everyone either sent it back or refused to buy it. It just sat there. Magazines like EGM and Gamepro both panned it for being broken as well. The gaming industry is so fucked up now. Back then if you made a game like this and called it "finished" you'd have the entire studio shut down and it would be remade again by a studio that was competent.
