I love the GTA 4 versions of the Bobcat, Rancher and Contender. Too bad R* didn't add them to GTA 5 with cool customization options, especially the off-road kind.

Rockstar tries to add different things to each game. If they added all the same cars to gta 5, it would just be boring

I disagree... There are a lot of people who do like these cars. R* can add new customization options, more details, realism and other features that were not in previous GTAs. That way it won't be boring!

Rancher has been carried over to GTA V and if I am right, it comes as both 2 door and 3 door variants. The Contender from IV became a utility truck in V with the new Contender being a 2nd gen Tundra. Bobcat was replaced with its next generation

Exactly! And in my opinion this was a big mistake by R*. The Rancher from GTA 4 is cooler and lighter than the XL from GTA 5, while the Yosemite Rancher is a variant of the Yosemite, which although both are based on the Chevrolet K-series, are from different years, the front and body of the Rancher from GTA 4 are better looking!

About the Contender, which is now based on the Tundra, it's actually good, but it lacked MORE customization options. Turning the original, beautiful and cool version into a utility vehicle was a terrible idea, they threw away the opportunity to add incredible customization options!

i find the Ambulance would be more based off the mid 2000s GMC Savanna since at the time it was a modern van and most hospitals prefer to use the latest models for the most part probably cause of how much more safe it is compared too older vehicles.

this game is the ultimate example of a next gen game back in the ps3 era. You really felt like you were on a next gen console. It's sad we will never get that feeling again I don't think

An interesting coincidence - the airport tractor is called Ripley, like the heroine of the Alien movies. In one part, there was a characteristic APC, which the filmmakers constructed based on such a airport tractor.

4:28 I believe the packer can also have a flatbed variant EDIT: at 4:14 you put an image of a freightliner FLB instead of a Kenworth K100.

1:19 those are only two variants of the Biff - flatbed and dumper (tipper). Rancher resembles a 3rd gen Bronco too

GTA 4's packer is....... A mix of Various American cab over trucks. Like Kenworth K-100, freightliner FLA/FLB, and 2 Mack trucks cab overs (mack wr cruise-liner for the grill, Mack MH ultra-liner for the headlights)

The Vapid Contender broke the vehicle lore. GTA IV was a Ford F150 Lightning, but GTA V's version was a Toyota Tundra.

It's amazing how we're told to always look ahead and keep moving forward,smdh. If a lot of this generation were to look back they might see how what may seem new has already been done,and in some cases,it was done better the first time. GTA V gets to much praise from the wrong people and this is why the game is plagued with issues that the company refuses to fix because they know that don't really have to. GTA IV has way more better looking and designed car models in most instances than it's successor,imo.

@SD1ONE I don't know, sometimes when your camera follows the cars, it seems like it's following the subtle shaking it does while changing gears. This happens in most games that you're playing. Plus, the free camera aspect you've added kind of makes the videos seem a little more extra than they were before.
