Just go to your apartment, while in the mission, and save the outfit at your wardrobe. If you cannot access your apartment, use a sticky bomb to blow yourself up and then you'll be able to enter. You do not need to put the earpiece on anymore.

I found that holster for the female character on director mode. Took me days but it was worth it since there's no components for it for the female character. You can freeze the belts and holsters just like the Christmas mask.

If it helps, you can get the gun belt from the transfer glitch with one of the diamond casino heist plate carriers. I forgot which one it was tho

For those attempting this on PC, and if Versus modes are unavailable to follow those steps: 1. According to the video, create all the wanted belts. 2. With suit that you want to put on - join Fleeca setup with a friend, Kuruma part. 3. After joining, switch your accessories from earpiece and back to it, wait for a bit and then quit the job. Of course, while in the lobby - you must set outfits to players owned and switch your own outfit to preferable belt. 4. After loading in any session - Initiate CEO, get in a car with rooftop and in organization style switch ones to the right, and then back. (Thanks to one of the folks from the commentary section for pointing this part out). Wait for a bit and then leave your car, if belt and outfit appear on you - you're good to save your outfit. Just keep in mind, if it doesn't show up, you may have done something wrong. Body armors are incompatible with those belts, keep in mind.

And it is much simpler to do,Just gotta starter job,set to player owned,get random or friend,switch to outfit,leave job soon as you can or can finish job (glitch still works),then soon as in freeroam,Start up VIP,CEO,or MC,Get inside Vehicle with roof,Go to management, go to style,switch right once then switch back then sit in your car for 5 seconds and There you go,Belt Glitch done

I've had that same problem. I think you just need to scroll the shortlisted actors for like 5-10 minutes extra. Even though your online character has already spawned on top of the birds. Just keep going for about 5 mins and it should work.

Now that I've researched it a bit more. Rockstar patched it. So it's intentional for your game to crash. As of right now I'm trying to do it with a bit of a different approach, but I believe it won't work since they patched it. But it'll be back during the christmas update.

I had it on director mode, badges with the sleeve patches. Once I went back to story mode and online, the patches were gone. Only the badges stuck.

Here in october 2022, it appears this glitch has been patched due to the game automactically crashing when changing appearance for christmas masks. was trying to go for the cop belt with IAA badge, it seems I was 9 months too late into trying this :( hope there is an alternative method that doesn't involve transfer or deleting saved outfits

I think it’s patched, after doing all the steps correctly and deleting my female character when I went back into GTA and none of the outfits transferred. I did it twice and made sure I copied every single step. I’m not sure if being on next GEN GTA has anything to do with it, but if I could get some help, that would be greatly appreciated.

You need the B&W deco earrings on the gunbelt outfit - it is likely the video you followed was very old, from a couple years ago

Shortlist 3 outfits with a Christmas mask, then shortlist any outfit until you fill up all the slots, once you do and you get that warning, you cancel it THEN you find an outfit with the IAA badge and shortlist it. Then it should transfer onto all the outfits (obviously pick one of the 3 outfits you shortlist with the Christmas masks)

Yes, you just have to do it exactly as I did, including starting on the male & also you must not disconnect all. If you disconnect, switch back to the male and then back to the female before continuing
