Taking a picture for sure works. I pull up snapchat on my phone and it makes it like 90% easier. Still a bit of a challenge because you have to time the pic right. The level 2 access cards are definitely the way to go tho. saves time

Easy. None of those. Grab the cheapest gunman and driver for all of them, except maybe for Guns Blazing, where the second cheapest will do just fine. You leave in all of them at the side doors and go straight to your getaway, then from there straight to the sewer entrance. Lose the cops and from there on its just you taking your time and driving nicely to the buyer. Optional preps to do for stealth is just EMP, Lvl 2 keycards and you are set. you can grab patrol routes and infiltration suits for convenience sake, but if you come and go from side doors/ waste disposal you only have like two guards who are actually in the way and you can stealth kill those with melee easily. Optional preps for Big Con is Gruppe sechs suits and NOOSE gear and exit from side doors and you are set. After you yoink the stuff just go up the stairs, wait for the guard on top of the stairs to pass by, then go get the NOOSE gear. After that, you walk out the side doors through the horse racing field and to the exit vehicle. For Guns Blazing, you take sewer entrance, medium gunman and cheap driver (preferably the sentinels since they are the best of the cheapest driver options) and do duggan shipments with preferably 2 buzzards (you can find them at most airfields quite easily). You should have an easy job getting 10/10 on Duggan shipments like that. Other than that, you are set there too. Diamond casino heist is really easy and the less preps you make the more its worth it.

This video was made when the Diamond Casino Heist was released. On top of that, these are upgrades not preps. I find the hack upgrade to be helpful, because you can practice the hack in your arcade basement, speeding up your time in preparation for the actual heist, which will enable you to hack faster and ultimately grab more loot. I appreciate the detailed comment. You seem to know your way around Diamond Casino Heist quite well. Although I’m surprised you didn’t mention taking the helicopter during your getaway.

That definitely works. To avoid getting that kind of hack though, I believe if you steal the level 2 security pass, you will get the fingerprint hack, which in my opinion is much easier.

I have a question, do you get to keep the door security for ever. Like if I complete it with door security on the big con and start a new casino heist on silent and sneaky will I still have it for the next heist?

You do get to keep the upgrade forever in that you never have to purchase it again. However, you can only use the upgrades when you complete the preps that are related to them. For example, you can only use the door security upgrade when you complete the hack prep work and you can only use the vault upgrade when you complete the drills or lasers prep mission.

What me and my friends do for the laser is we just hold the trigger down until it breaks the lock and it won’t overheat and right after the lock breaks I let the trigger go

Yeah, that definitely works and is how it should be done. It was still early in the update when I recorded the video, so I took the overheat too literal, because at the time, I didn’t realize there was a drill used with the Big Con Approach. Both the drill and laser are used for practice on the vault, which at the time, I didn’t realize.

To answer your first question, the fingerprint scanner can be used by other players who are inside of your arcade and you own the upgrade. To answer your second question, the upgrade does last forever as you will never have to purchase it again. One thing to keep in mind is the upgrade is only useable when you complete the hack prep work when setting up a Diamond casino heist approach. This also goes for the vault upgrade. This is only useable when you you complete the drills or lasers prep work when setting up a Diamond casino heist approach. You will never have to purchase the upgrades again though. I don’t believe having a heist set up has anything to do with not being able to purchase the upgrade, although I’m am not 100% sure. The upgrades are purchased on the board where you pick the heist approach for the Diamond Casino Heist. Personally, I wouldn’t invest in the vault upgrade, but I’m not quite sure what is causing your issue.

The vehicle upgrades are not included as the upgrades discussed in this video. The upgrades that are discussed in this video are the extra heist upgrades that are found on the heist board where you pick the Approach you want for the Diamond Casino Heist. These include the vault door, Casino model, and security upgrade. For the vehicles, you will need to upgrade them for each heist.

From my experience, you have to carefully use L3 with the Diamond Casino Drill. I wouldn’t say spamming has ever worked for me. Spamming may be too quick for the game to register the heat, so that would be the only way I could see that working.

During the heist, in order to access the different areas inside the vault, you will have to hack. The security hack upgrade just allows you to practice the hack that you will perform during the heist final. I think it’s best to allow you to practice your speed, so you can be quicker during the heist; ultimately allowing you to gather more loot.

The upgrade essentially allows you to practice the hack, so that you know what to expect and can become faster at it, when it comes time to entering the vault on the heist final. Once you purchase any of the upgrades, you will permanently keep them. However, do not be alarmed if you will find them unavailable at times. For example, the hack upgrade is only available if you are currently working on a Diamond Casino Heist Approach and have done the hack heist prep work mission.

No, they do not vanish, however with the vault, depending on what approach you are doing will depend on what you can practice with. For example, if you are doing the Silent and Sneaky Approach, you will be able to practice with the vault laser. In comparison, if you are doing the Big Con Approach, you will be able to practice with the drill. The hack and casino model should always remain available once purchased.

The upgrades are supposed to be a one time purchase and as far as I am aware, they should not disappear. This Diamond Casino Heist DLC came out in 2019, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there are some bugs related to this update now. I also I’m not sure if the upgrades disappear when changing Arcade locations, other than that, they shouldn’t disappear. I would contact Rockstar Support and tell them what’s going on. If you have any other questions please let me know!!

The extra heist upgrades can be bought on one of the planning boards in the arcade basement. The board I am referring to is the one where you start the scope out mission and pick what approach you want to set up. I hope this helps!

If you purchase a keycard, it does only last for one heist. Once the heist is completed and you begin setting up another, a separate keycard would need to be purchased for that heist. I hope this helps!

The only thing I can think of is that the heist is on normal and not hard. I honestly do not remember what the normal gold payout is, but I do know that the payout for all loot is higher if the heist is on hard.

There is physically no way to turn the Diamond Casino Heist to hard mode. The only way to play a diamond casino heist in hard mode is by replaying it after another approach has just been completed. For example, if you complete the Big Con Approach, then Aggressive right after that, then go back to Big Con, the Big Con Approach will be playable in hard mode.

You will still need to do the hack to answer your question. The security passes allow you to enter certain rooms inside the Casino, such as the room where the daily vault control is, or the doors to the stairwells. The dot and fingerprint hacks are reserved for inside the vault where the loot you are stealing is located. You will need those hacks to get into he other doors inside the vault. I hope this helps. Both players will have the ability to hack inside the vault. This is good because you will have multiple rooms to hack into and gather loot, therefore, more people to hack, the better. You should have either the finger print hack or the dot hack. I’m not quite sure what controls whether it’s the fingerprint hack or dot hack, but you will have one or the other to do when hacking into the rooms inside the vault.

Essentially the security upgrade is the most important upgrade. It allows you to practice hacking to continue to get faster for the actual heist. The faster you are, the more time you have in the vault to loot more.

Nope! It’s a one time purchase thankfully! One thing to keep in mind is that the vault door and security hack are only usable when the prep related to the upgrades are completed. For instance, the vault door is only usable when the vault drills or lasers prep has been completed when setting up a Diamond Casino Heist. To use the security hack upgrade, the hack prep mission must be completed when setting up a Diamond Casino Heist to use that upgrade. I hope this helps!
