No doubt, this is one of the best missions in the entire game... this is how the Grove street families were when they were at their peak. No betrayal, no drugs, just Smoke, Ryder, Sweet and CJ ruling Los Santos... I wish we lived in a world where GTA San Andreas Stories existed man. Grove Street Families were Dutch's Gang before RDR 1 and 2 were even a thing.

ah yes, those good ol' times I've spent with Sweet, Smoke and Ryder as CJ, life in Los Santos, those were the best of times, hanging with my gang, killing ballas, getting into deep shit and getting out of it, but this from my humble opinion was the best and most memorable of those old days, a life well lived, until I've found out Smoke and Ryder betrayed me, Sweet and the entire Grove Street families and got Sweet in prison and me thrown far away from my home town, how could it all have come to this?

Love the exploitable glitch created with this mission, if you don't go into the hotel right away, you find out that this mission turns off the cops/wanted levels, letting you go anywhere in the game early without "cheating". You can go get all seashells, load up on powerful weapon pick-ups from around the map and plenty of other stuff. Then you return to the hotel several hours later and save Sweet with ridiculous firepower.

The attack on the motel was obviously a setup by Smoke and Tenpenny in my opinion. A lot of people have said that. I think it makes sense. Since all the OGs of the different gangs were meeting up at the motel, this was a perfect opportunity for both Smoke and C.R.A.S.H. to wipe them all out. I think Smoke informed Tenpenny about the meeting, and in turn he sent the SWAT to the motel. Smoke and Ryder basically just left CJ and Sweet for dead, but their plan failed, and they came back for them so that their cover doesn’t get blown, and because Tenpenny still needed CJ to do his dirty work I guess.
